Wicked Arousal Gel
I'm a female, and the gel burned and was too painful for sex for me, and I was unhappy with its effects.Published: January 15, 2011
Pros:
Price, Amount
Cons:
Burning, Painful effect
I purchased the Wicked Arousal Gel thinking it would give me added pleasure for sex with my husband. I was wrong. It left me disappointed and in pain. Sure, it has a warming and tingling effect, but for me, it was in a bad way. The warming and tingling mixed which caused it to hurt me. It felt like someone put Icy Hot on my clit. I was in tears because it was burning so much. This product also did not help with my orgasms at all. It made it even longer for me to experience one after I got the product washed off of me due to the pain.
I personally think this product should be used more for male arousal than for female arousal. My husband enjoyed it, but I couldn't handle it.
On a positive side, this product delivers the warming and tingling effect and more satisfaction than the K Y Yours and Mine Collection promises but doesn't deliver.
I think it's great that this can get people off so effectively, but to me, it wasn't fantastic. The basic premise is that someone put peppermint oil in lube, and it doesn't feel terrible. I can see how some people might love it, and some people might need to wash it off. I was one that needed to wash it off ASAP to avoid a rash or a rug-burn-like rash.
The product isn't badly priced to experiment with. You can get a few uses out of it if you want to try that much. The product has a rubbery, slippery, oil-like texture. The gel would be good for couples to sample for added pleasure, but I was not happy with the product myself. I do not think I will recommend this product to anyone or purchase it again.

Follow-up commentary

I'm afraid to try it again. I'm afraid it will cause me to break out again or give me even worse results. Therefore, I've just thrown it in the trash.

Arousal Gels

how many of you use them, and do you use them on your nipples too or just genitals?
-
I use Durex Utopia. I tried it on the nipples, but it didn't respond at all. I think perhaps Arginine, the active ingredient that works by increasing blood flow to the area, doesn't absorb through normal skin. An arousal product with menthol or some other tingly feel thing is probably required for nipple stimulation.
Utopia is AMAZING on the clit and labia though! -
I have never used them on my nipples, but I use them for my clit to get blood flow down there.

Thank you for viewing Wicked arousal gel – lubricant review page!

If you are bothered by one product like this, changes are you will be bothered by most or all similar products. I would stay away from these if you continue to have irritation.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience!
Thanks!
