PACKAGING:

The outside of the package reads, "edenfantasys.com - the sex shop you can trust" - not completely discreet. "All Purpose Wet Wipes. Doesn't contain alcohol, Gentle on your skin, Safe for toys, For external use only."

The back lists the ingredients, and lists some of the benefits of our wonderful community ("...Talk on forums, Read Sexis Magazine")

The wipes come in a durable, flexible packet. The material is crinkly, not silent, and foil-coated inside, presumably to prevent the wipes from drying out. The wipes open with a sticker-sealed hole, which works well to keep the wipes closed and sealed, so far.

The packaging is small; about the size of a tiny woman's hand and fingers.


INGREDIENTS:

Water, chlorhexidine, glycerin, aloe extract, vitamin E, tea tree oil.

Chlorhexidine is a chemical antiseptic. It is commonly used in mouthwash, contact lens solution, and many other products. Limited exposure (like hand soap) has been declared safe by the FDA, though some studies debate this. It is effective at killing bacteria, as well as fungi, and has some preservative qualities as well. source

Glycerin is a simple compound present in tons of products. It is a thickening agent and sweetener in some foods. It is found in everything from lube to toothpaste to soap, and has some wonderful hydrating properties. Glycerin is safe for external use. However, its sweetness can spur yeast infections, therefore, this product should be limited to external use only. source & source

Aloe extract is derived from the aloe plant. Aloe allergies are possible but uncommon. Aloe is a very gentle moisturizer with infinite uses in personal care. Aloe also soothes rough, chapped, or irritated skin. Fantastic ingredient!

Vitamin E also is natural. It hydrates and soothes skin, like aloe. This ingredient is safe for use internally and externally, and should not cause any issues.

Tea tree oil is a natural extract. It has astringent and antibacterial properties. It has drying qualities, but the vitamin E and aloe work to rehydrate skin at the same time. Tea tree is gentle and while sensitivities do exist, they are uncommon. source


SENSORY:

I am sensitive to smells and find these to be moderately scented. The smell is not, as one might expect from the ingredients list, tea tree. The smell is not natural at all. They have a floral perfume smell. The smell is not medicinal or astringent, like cleaning supplies. It does, however, remind me a little of "air fresheners" - chemical and unpleasant. It is not unbearable. Someone with no sensitivity to smells may find it unobtrusive. I find it distracting.

There is an "after-smell" to these. The toy must be put directly under the nose for the after-smell to be detected. It is subtle, and similar to the lingering smell after washing hands with scented hand soap.

Texture-wise, they feel very similar to baby wipes or any other wet wipes. It is more durable than a paper tissue or paper towel, but less durable than thin fabric. These wipes could easily tear, but for me, they are just right; not too thin or too bulky. They are not scratchy or uncomfortable.

They are quite wet. In fact, since these wipes are folded in the package, "snapping" the wipe to open it is not recommended! They are not drippy, just moist enough to get the job done.


SIZE:

These wipes are huge! One wipe can completely clean one clitoral vibrator, two anal plugs, one dildo, and the entire lower half of my body! For me, the wipes are almost too big. I'd prefer twenty half-wipes over ten enormous wipes.

The wipes are extremely light-weight, which makes them easily transportable.


EXPERIENCE:

In my experience, these wipes leave absolutely no residue of any kind. After use, my toys felt squeaky-clean; no goo or grease. These wipes do not leave fibers behind, like toilet paper or tissues can. I have sensitive skin and experienced absolutely no burning, irritation or other unpleasant feelings, when used on my skin. These wipes do exactly what they are supposed to.

Unlike toilet paper or tissues, these wipes eliminate stickiness and leave you comfortable and secure!

I will continue to use these wipes, regardless of the smell, because I love the way they perform!


USES:

- Camping, travelling, or other situations where running water is not easily accessible, or where water quality is an issue.

- Discreet clean-up during adventures outside the home.

- Quick clean-up in a rush, when showering is not an option.

Keep one pack in your purse, one in your desk at the office, one in your car, and a few scattered around your house!

I never understood wipes before I started using them. I wondered, "Why not just get up and wash your toys?"

The answer, of course, is simple: you don't have to!

When a friend is visiting me and sleeping on my couch, I use Eden wipes so I can put my favorite toys away without smuggling them into the bathroom.

When I try to cure a headache or stomach ache with an orgasm, I use Eden wipes so I don't have to cripple my way to a sink afterwards.

When I am busy and in a rush, I use Eden wipes so I don't have to spend the time carefully washing toys that aren't waterproof.

When I have no patience, or no energy, or would just rather bask in the glow of a fantastic orgasm, I don't have to get up.

However, best of all? When I have a limited time to spend with a partner, we can get cleaned up and 'decent' again within a few minutes - no shower required. I like the smell of sex, but sometimes I like a quickie before going off to work!

I'm still not a fan of the scent, but it could be worse. The packaging isn't perfect, but since they arrive a bit overly moistened, they can dry up quite a bit and still be effective at what they're supposed to do.

Other than this, I have no complaints about them, and will continue to enjoy these wipes for as long as I can.
