You Get What You Pay For
These are just your garden variety Duracell batteries. They are longer lasting than the cheapies I usually get from the dollar store, and literally half the cost for the same thing at my local drugstore. It's definitely more enjoyable to get them on EF than going through the checkout!Published: November 26, 2011
Pros:
cheaper on EF than in some stores, easy to add to cart
Cons:
wish they were rechargeable
Errr. Yeah. It's kind of hard to write a review on batteries, but here's my go at it.
I grabbed these on at the last minute to one of my purchases on this. I knew I needed them, and honestly didn't feel like getting in the car and wasting gas to stand in line for 15 minutes, because I am usually unlucky and get stuck behind Grandma Moses at the speedy checkout counter. They are your typical Duracell battery which come in the plastic bubble stuff and cardboard.
I used two right away and they lasted about a week longer then the same brand batteries I get from my local Wal-Mart. They also outlasted the cheapo batteries I get from the Dollar store about 20 minutes from where I live, but that doesn't take much.
You can use these for anything: tv remotes, toy cars and other things like that. I mean, come on they're batteries. I used the other two to replace the cheap ones that were in my tv remote. They're still good in that remote.
You can keep the batteries in their original container like I do, or you can do what my off and on boyfriend does and put them in an old pencil box or pouch. I don't suggest using them with really cheap toys. I used 1 of them with this $4.99 vibrator I got from the adult novelty store about 30 minutes away and now it doesn't want to work. I also don't suggest leaving them in the toy itself for long periods of time because they might explode and corrode the battery compartment.
These are definitely worth a last minute grab if you know you are going to need them and don't want to go through 4x the batteries you'd buy from the Dollar store, or if you don't want to run up town to go buy them.

Packaging for Batteries
-
I'd really like to know what packaging the AA batteries 4-pack comes in. The picture doesn't show. I've bought the N batteries, and those came in your "traditional" cardboard backing with plastic on front, but then I bought C batteries and they were just four C batteries rolled into a plastic baggie.
I want to purchase these to donate to the local women's shelter, but they'll only accept unwrapped items, so I need to know if it comes in "normal" battery packaging or if it will just be batteries in a plastic baggie. Anyone know? -
I've purchases this numerous times and they've always come traditionally packaged.

The packaging is a thin cardboard square with the plastic shell on the front holding the batteries like when you buy batteries from the store. The cardboard is really generic without any brand name on it. It just says "alkaline batteries" and it's black with white letters... but the batteries are indeed Duracell's and they have the name on them.
Hope that helps.

Thank you for viewing AA batteries 4pack review page!

Thanks for the review! This would be a tough one to write, especially if you wanted to get 30% off and did a buyout assignment! (A timed review on batteries? Lol!) Good job!
Thanks!
Thanks!
lol good review on the batteries, only think I can say is that i wish they came in lager packs then just four. I mean if you have let's say.. 6 toys that take AA, and almost every toy takes two... that's 12 batteries right there.
Thank you for sharing. I'm not sure what all I could have said about basic batteries either, good job.
