Shunga exotic massage oil by Shunga Erotic Art - review by Alicia

The people at Shunga know what they're doing when they choose their fragrances for their products. My Shunga Massage Oil is "Passion" which is their apple scented fragrance. They describe it as "a basket full of forbidden apples", which I have to say is pretty accurate. When I use this oil I absolutely feel like I am walking in an apple orchard. What's also nice about this scent is that it lasts on your skin. I always love when my sensual body products leave a lasting smell. I love to be reminded of the sensual massage that I shared with my husband later on during the day. Shunga also chose wonderful ingredients for their products. This massage oil contains: Sweet Almond Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Sesame Oil, Avocado Oil, Safflower Oil, Vitamin E, Ylang Ylang, and Fragrance. With all these luxurious oils you know your skin will be left feeling soft and moisturized.

This massage oil allows you to give a lengthy massage, it glides very well and it lasts quite a while before it's fully rubbed in. You can vary the amount that you use to allow you to give either a 10 minute rub down or a much lengthier massage. I recommend starting with a small amount and that adding to that as necessary because a little does go a long way with this, and if you use too much you'll either leave your partner very greasy or be there a long, long time trying to get it to fully rub in. The nice thing though is that it does not dry sticky. A bit greasy, yes, but considering this is a massage oil it's really not that bad. We didn't need to get up and shower or anything afterward, but it was noticeable on our skin.

I don't like to use my Shunga Oil just for massages. I love the apple scent far too much for that. You can use this as a body oil for every day use, but just be careful as it can leave you greasy if you use too much. However, if you put it on very lightly after getting out of the shower, when your skin is ready to absorb the oil easily it can leave you feeling soft and smooth with a fresh dewy sheen to your skin. If you find it still leaves you slightly greasy you could add some Shunga Snow over top to absorb some of the oil. I like doing this anyway as it then makes my skin smell like honey apples since I have the honey scented snow.

** A note about using this massage oil together with the Shunga Snow. This massage oil is not flavored, but you can still use the Shunga Snow as a kissable powder, even with the oil underneath. There was a very slight aftertaste when using it this way, but not noticeable enough to be an issue. **

Shunga's Massage Oil also makes a great addition to your bath. I squirt some under the hot running water as I'm filling the tub and it makes the bath water silky soft and fills the entire bathroom with the delicious scent of the apples. I highly recommend this as a bath oil while shaving your legs. I did this and it worked out amazingly. Normally after I shave my legs my legs will be so dry that the skin actually flakes off of them. If I use lotion right after shaving it usually burns like hell. When I shaved with the Shunga Oil in the water I found that it left my legs feeling so moisturized that I didn't have to add any lotion afterwards. Silky soft bath water and silk soft fresh shaven legs, can't get much better than that.

As for the bottle itself, like all Shunga products there is the entwined lovers on the front, but other than that it's rather discreet as it looks like a bottle of shampoo or something. It's about that size too, you get 8oz of massage oil which should last for quite some time. I am completely in love with this lotion and I will definitely be adding the rest of the scents to my collection.
