Your Body Is My Favorite Canvas
This is just the thing for couples to indulge in some private time. It's a sweet and tasty way to increase intimacy. It needs to be refrigerated after opening or all used in one sitting. All in all, it's a wonderful product that is well worth the price!Published: April 29, 2010
Pros:
tastes phenomenal, cleans up easy, totally edible
Cons:
heavy in sugar
Sigel and I have loved edible body paint since a former girlfriend of ours introduced us to it. The flavors left much to be desired, though, so we rarely indulged. Then we found KamaSutra's Chocolate Body Paint. This stuff is nummy!
The jar arrives in a light cardboard box that contains a 1 fl. oz glass jar of body paint and an applicator brush. The brush has a black plastic handle and what looks like nylon bristles. The brush is stiff and doesn't feel as nice as fingers to spread the paint around. The jar is heavy glass with a black plastic lid that is worth keeping as a small keepsake jar after the chocolate is all gone. It retains the smell of the paint and can perfume the whole room, yummy!
We chose the dark chocolate flavor and weren't disappointed. The flavor is smooth, creamy, and has just the right amount of bitter. It is so good licked off a lover's skin! The texture is smooth and the paint goes on easily and thickly. It is great to use with a stencil to create edible works of art. It is, of course, sticky and messy if you aren't careful. For that reason we recommend a towel under you during play. It won't stain sheets, but you'd have to wash them after you are done. The consistency is about the same as the flavored ice cream toppings sold in stores. It washes cleanly away with warm water and soap. You'll want to shower after play but that isn't always a bad thing!
The product needs to be refrigerated after opening, so you'll have to use it on one sitting or plan on storing it. After sitting in the fridge the product can be heated with the lid off in the microwave SLOWLY. Take care and stir the chocolate thoroughly to avoid burns. For complete safety you could warm it in a bowl of hot water. It adds a lovely twist to temp play if you are extremely careful. It's great for group situations as an icebreaker!
The ingredients are indeed very authentic: Corn Syrup, Palm Kernel Oil, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Non-Fat dried Milk, Soya Lecithin, Vanillin, Ethyl Alcohol, Water, Cocoa Powder, Food Starch, Gelatin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate. This isn't a good product for people with diabetes and wouldn't be good as lubrication.

Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
We just managed to use up this product. It kept for months in the fridge without any problem and a few minutes in the microwave brought it back to spreadable consistency without affecting the taste. I loved this for spicing up a blow job and the laughs we had painting on each other brought us closer and was just plain fun!

Sampler packs?
-
I think it would be really great to see the edible body paints end up in a sampler set :) Like one chocolate, one vanilla, one carmel, etc etc. That would be great! Anyone else agree?

Anyone else agree?I think that would be fun. Maybe have different types of packs too. Like themes. That way you'd get flavors that go well together, and you could have a mix and match kind of thing going on.

sounds yummy! I have never tried chocolate body paint before so I think I am ready to give it a shot with this one
I want to try this stuff...now I just have to get the boyfriend to stay still long enough.
Thank you for the great review, and letting us know how to heat the body paint - slowly, it is good to use caution with microwaving products.
