A Great Bedside Companion- Divine Toy Box
This Toy Boy by Divine is very pretty and functional. I love how it keeps my favorite toys handy without making me dig for them in a big box. It holds a good amount of toys. It has a ring for locking but also closes tight without the hassle of a lock thanks to a bendable ring on the lid.Published: August 30, 2011

I bought the Devine Toy Box as an additional place to store my toys. This box looks so nice sitting on my bedside table. I have quite a large collection of toys, this doesn't hold them all. It holds all my favorite toys and give me easy access to them.
Let's start with the dimensions: 9 1/2" in length by 5" wide with 5" height. This box is bigger than you probably imagine. I put alot of toys into it and still have room. As long as the toys are not longer than 9" they will lay flat in the box. Most of my toys are in their pouches but a few don't have anything, so this box keeps lint and dust from getting at my toys.
All of this fits in there with the lid closed.
The box I got is mostly black faux-leather on the outside. The lid is a deep red faux-crocodile. The lid hangs over about half way and has a bendable ring to keep it shut. The lid has a black strap that will hold it open without having to bend all the way back. The inside has a smooth satin lining. The box came with a very small lock and two microscopic keys. I don't use the lock since it stays closed with ring so well. Once it is locked, even with the small lock that comes with it, it is secure. No one will be able to lift the lid even slightly to see what is inside. It closes pretty tight. In fact, I can turn down the ring and hold it upside down without it coming open. However, if you are like me and have toys sticking out of it, the overhanging lid will keep it's contents discreet (at least from the front angle).
This box looks great and is smooth like leather. I think it is a nice luxurious box for my most used items. It doesn't have to hold just toys either, it could hold anything. It is not portable with a handle or anything. it is just made to sit somewhere and look pretty. Smaller lubrication bottles or toy cleaners could fit upright if they are less than 5" tall. I keep mine stocked with my favorite toys, condoms, and toy wipes. I keep the cords to my rechargeable toys separate so that helps with the toy finding factor.
This toy box is easy to keep clean. I just dust it once in a while, it repels liquids (thanks to my 2 year old for making sure of that!). I used a Eden Wipe to wipe off the juice that spilled and it came clean with no problem. It would make a great gift for someone who needs a place for their toys. It came in the discreet shipping box and just had a clear plastic bag covering it, with the lock and keys in the box.

Experience
While this box is a bit pricey, I still recommend it. I think it looks nice and holds the right amount of stuff without making me dig too far for anything. I want to get the condom cube that matches it! I bet it would be perfect for batteries and condoms.

I keep this box next to my bed. I have another toy box across the room which is much larger for the bulk of my toys. This Devine toy box hold my most used toys for easy access. I love the look of this box and how it locks with just a twist. It keeps my little ones from getting into it. I really like this box and I would still recommend it! In fact, I am thinking of getting the condom cube just to hold cock rings and condoms for my lovers side of the bed. Then we will have a matching set.

Silver croco toy box?

I feel like I've been waiting forever for this to come in stock. Has anyone got one? I'm thinking maybe it came into stock and they all got snapped up before I even noticed? For some reason the alerts aren't allowing me to set one for re-stock. My heart is full of sadness, for my butt plugs are without a silver crocodile skin patterned box to hide in :(

I'd submit a support ticket and see if they can give you an idea about whether or not it'll be coming back in stock anytime soon. Support tickets are always a good idea when you're wondering about, well, pretty much anything that a staff member could answer. In the meantime, I suppose you could always just get the black and red version?

I'm asking members if anyone actually got one. If they were stocked at one point, I assume they'll be restocked and I'll wait. DevineToys are usually really on top of re-stocking for items that are being carried.
I have almost all of the Devine Toy Boxes except that red and black, though, I think it's very ugly! (To me it is; taste is a subjective thing, obviously.)

The question I have and I understand that the box both locks and comes with a lock. I have a family full of busy bodies (snoops), they just drop on bye, Is there anyway to see what is in the box when its closed and locked? I did read the info and the reviews and I could not see where that was mentioned that it was snoop proof if locked.

If you have some real snoops, I'd get a stronger box (a real lock box).

I chose "useful" rather than "extremely useful" because it holds more toys than I have right now. The review was well done, and defintely makes me want to seriously consider this box when I have a requirement for one this size. I like the look of the corset box too, I just worry about my busy-body babies trying to untie it. The blue lace box is pretty too but I worried about it snagging and showing its age in a year or so. The red croc box is easy to keep clean and will hopefully last a bit longer for me.
