Purple padded pouch - storage container discontinued by Don Wands - review by Breas

The Drawstring Storage Pouch by Don Wands is available in 3 different sizes: small, medium, and large. I purchased the medium pouch. I purchased the pouch because quite a few of my toys are stored in their original boxes, which take up quite a bit of room. I purchased the medium to see the quality and size of the bag. This would determine whether or not I’d be purchasing any more of them.



The bag does not come in any type of packaging. It just arrived in the plain, cardboard box that EdenFantasys ships in. The bag is 100% polyester and is a pale purple/pink colour. There are no text or photos on the storage bag so I’d say that it is discreet. The shape of the bag is rectangular. The top of the bag has a black, drawstring closure.

The bag is nice and thick with padding. The bag reminds me of a miniature-sized pillow because it’s so thick with padding. It would be excellent to use to store any type of toy but perfect for travelling with, especially with any glass toys.



I took a measurement of the thickness of the bag by setting it on the table and measuring to the top of the bag (at the centre). It’s approximately 2 ½ inches thick. If I were to smush the padding a bit, I could get the thickness of the centre of the bag to over 3 inches. This is without any toy inside.

The drawstring closure is nice because there is a black tab on it that slides along the strings and holds the bag closed. The red velvety bags that come with the SSA glass toys have a drawstring closure too but you have to basically tie the strings to keep the bag closed. The tab really makes it easier to both open and close the bag quickly.

The quality of the bag is really good. It’s soft, has a great amount of padding, all of the stitching is done nicely, and the closure has a tab. The only downfall to the bag is that there is only the one colour option. The care tag states that the storage pouch should be hand washed in cold water and hung to dry.

Overall, I’m very happy with the storage bag. I think it’s a great price and great quality. I will probably purchase a few more mediums for some of my toys and eventually get a large one to see which of my larger toys will fit the bag. I’d recommend this storage option to others.

Since there was really only so much I could tell you about the bag, I decided to see which of my toys would fit into the bag nicely. Some of the toys that fit individually into the bag are as follows: Petite Flutter (you have to put it in on a slant for it to fit the length), Sex In the Shower Vibe, First Time Power G, Rockstar Vibes Joni, and Slim Smooth Delight (you could fit a bunch of these actually). I could fit all of my glass toys into the pouch individually. Here are a few of the ones that I had tried: Blossom G, Hearts Wand, Amethyst, Gold Laced G, Rainbow Nubby Wand, Pink Passion Wand, Amber Wave, and Bumpy Spiral Double Dong. Some of the lengthier toys that I had listed were able to fit into the bag but like Petite Flutter, I had to put them in slanted.

I still think these pouches are great but I'm finding that I need thinner pouches for my toys. I only have so much room in my toy boxes and the extra padding to these pouches takes up more space than I'd like. This pouch is great for pieces like glass and such because of the thick padding but I would not recommend it for storing toys of other materials if you're trying to save space.
