This product can be used both during masturbation and couples play. It is effective during vaginal intercourse, anal intercourse and solo g-spotting, front, or rear entry positions. Unfortunately it is rather small, so if you are on the larger side you may need to upgrade to either the actual Liberator wedge, or the ramp.

The one thing that I would NOT recommend using the Liberator Heart Wedge for, is a pillow. It's just a tad stiff to be even remotely comfortable.

The heart wedge is 7" thick on the curved end, and roughly 1" thick on the pointed end. It is thick enough to place most peoples hips at a sufficient height for both front and rear entry positions, and provides ample support for the back and prevents slipping into awkward and incredibly uncomfortable positions. It is also thin enough on the narrow end to prevent an uncomfortable ridge between the end of the pillow and the bed.

I have to say that my favorite thing about the heart wedge is the dip in the top of the heart. If I lay on my stomach, using the wedge to prop up my hips the same way as for a rear entry position, I can slip my arm into the dip where the two curves meet and masturbate. This is a position that is totally new for me with solo play, and I really enjoy it.

It is designed to be beautiful and discreet and succeeds at both. It comes in a darker shade than is featured in the image but aside from that is exactly as shown.

I do have two complaints about the wedges shape,
1. The heart wedge is very small, and this greatly limits it's usefulness/comfort for larger women or men. I would actually strongly recommend considering the original wedge for anybody with over a 44" hip measurement.
2. If using the wedge for front entry positions, the heart shape becomes somewhat detrimental. The point is indeed thin enough to prevent a lumpy ridge between the support and mattress, unfortunately it is only about an inch wide so the only part of you that it cushions is your spine.

It is made of a highly dense foam that is almost solid, but has enough give to be comfortable. The foam is covered with both a water resistant nylon liner, and a velvety microfiber cover which is stain resistant. These are both removable for washing, so no matter the spill, your foam should be safe and remain beautiful.

The design was definitely well thought out and a lot of care was taken to make it an easy to own accessory, the covers fit snuggly but are easy to put on. The microfiber cover is very sturdy, well constructed, and the zippers on both covers are strong enough to hold throughout rigorous and repetitive tugging. Unfortunately the inside of the nylon liner was a bit of a problem, the ends of the material are neither sealed nor folded in before being sewn. This results in a lot of loose threads which are not an issue when the liner is closed, but can get caught in the zipper, pulled by accident, or caught in the wash, if one is not extremely careful.

The wedge performed well, it supported my spine, hips and ass, and allowed for comfortable movement of my legs. I am used to holding my body in the positions that provide the level of penetration, and angles that I like, eventually resorting to an overstuffed throw cushion. The heart wedge provided a comfortable angle and a sturdier support than I could accomplish alone, or with ANY throw pillow I have ever come across.

As I mentioned above, it also works incredibly well for positioning during masturbation. Whether on your back, front, or even on your side with the thick end lifting your shoulders and leaving room to prop yourself on an elbow, it really does provide the support and opportunity for trying something new.

The packaging for the Liberator heart wedge is minimal almost to the point of being nonexistent. It comes packaged in a plastic bag of sorts and comes with nothing more than a card attached. The card does say that the wedge is perfect for deep penetration and g-spot targeting positioning. Other than that the only information provided is the copyright date and the state and zip of the Liberator headquarters.

The Heart Wedge was designed to be incredibly easy to clean. Both the microfiber cover and the water resistant nylon liner are machine washable. However, due to the loose fabric ends on the inside of the liner you will DEFINITELY want to keep it zipped when you put it through the wash to prevent problems. The liner and cover are both surprisingly easy to remove and to replace on the pillow, which is a huge relief. Who on earth wants to struggle for ages trying to replace cushion covers only to have them sit wrong on the cushions? Thankfully, Liberator took that into consideration.

Storing the heart wedge is not really necessary. The wedge was designed to be aesthetically pleasing, so much so that you could get away with leaving it out on the bed, and most people would assume it was just a cute supportive pillow.

Care and Maintenance? Keep it clean, toss it on the bed, and do your best not to drop it into the toilet or stab it with office supplies... on second thought, you might also want to keep it away from children.

I initially assumed that the edges of the heart shape might be uncomfortable when my body was crammed up against it. I was really happy to discover that this was not the case. No matter what the position, no part of the wedge dug into my body uncomfortably.

I also thought, since the wedge is so often pictured among bed pillows, that it would be nice to use as a firmer supporting pillow. Boy was I WRONG, there is just no way that this thing is comfortable to use as a pillow of any sort. It was designed as a firm support, and that is precisely what it is.
