A Really Pretty and Practical Storage Box

This is a really pretty storage box from Devine Toys that can fit basically any variety of things you’d like to keep locked up. Yes, that’s right, it locks. It comes with a little padlock and two keys to keep your secret items, a secret. The lock is not very good quality, but you can always purchase a different lock if you find the lock is too easily picked. If discression is not a problem for you, then just folding down the metal loop will keep the lid shut.
I say it is practical because it can suit anyone’s needs quite easily. The average person only has a few items and this box is perfect for that. It is also great for reviewers who need the items they are testing nearby. It’s just a simple box that can serve multiple purposes for anyone.
The box is a good size. It is 5” deep, 5” wide, and has a length of 9.5. It probably won’t be able to hold all of your toys, but it can hold multiple items.
The lid has a nicely designed black lace over purple, with the rest of the box being black. Also comes in red if that suits your decor better. The lace feels very thin, so keep sharp objects away from it. The exterior walls are made of faux leather, and the interior is satin. The interior can be wiped down with a cloth if massage oils or lube happen to leak, and make sure to clean spills right away so the material doesn’t stain.
Not many people are going to suspect the box contains sex toys if you leave it out. In fact, you can use it for other things, but the locking feature is very appropriate for keeping things hidden. The Devine logo is stamped on the side, but likely no one is going to know what that means. The lid has a ribbon to keep the lid from falling back when it is open. The ribbon doesn’t feel all that sturdy, so be aware that it might snap off. Attached to the ribbon was a tag with the manufacture’s website which you can just cut off and discard.

Experience
I am always on the lookout for more storage, and this cute little box fit the bill. It is by far the prettiest storage container I own, and therefore I leave it on my nightstand to hold the items I am testing or really love.
I also have the Devine red crocodile print box, and I think the lace box is much prettier. It is a little pricy, but I think it is a worthwhile investment for the toys that you love.

This is such a handy and pretty box. If you can never remember combinations, but still want something that locks, this is absolutely perfect. I couldn't be happier with mine.

Devine toy lace box – flimsy lock

I am looking into getting myself a proper toy box. I really like the look of this one, but the lock looks super flimsy. Do you think you could replace the lock with a different one?

I don't have that box, but I can't see why you couldn't replace the lock with something a bit more sturdy. I'm pretty sure a lot of other people have :)

One of the reviews mentioned a bit of fraying on the lace; from my experience with other lace items, I know that could potentially happen if it's not higher-quality or well put together. Can anyone who has had one of the lace boxes for awhile assure me it will hold up and not look messy and horrible after a year of use? :) -

I am not sure when you posted this, but we recently shipped them the corset style. Regarding your lace fraying issue, any lace receives lots of friction will show signs of ware and tear. The lace we use is not the super delicate french lace of lingerie, so has longer staying power than that certainly. We hope you love your DevineToy box, whichever you choose.

Do you think a few small electronics would fit in here?

a digital camera,a kindle,ipod touch and a nintendo 3ds?
Does that seem like it would fit nicely in this box? Would this bee a good choice or would they fit oddly in there? I'm not worried alot I just have a sister I don't trust and it makes me feel good to lock up things she might run off wih...SHe has been known to go through my bedroom and even take sexual things like the sex card position deck or porn then she leaves it lying around in her bedroom and then I get introuble for having those things.....BOOO! SHe is 21 now living here with her 30 year old boyfriend...I've wondered if they have dug around in here or if she gets urges too... -
I'm not entirely sure about the Kindle, but after watching Mistress Kay's video review on it, it looks like it would hold everything else easily and without problem. Although she recommends buying your own small padlock if you really want to keep people out of it. You could probably even keep a few other things in there with the camera, iPod, and Nintendo.

The Nintendo 3ds isn't out yet but will be in 2011...

would it store well under your bed? I have a cat who likes to go under my bed not sure if she would touch this...If you wanted 2 of these would you be comfortable just storing it un top of your dresser or would u just get the devine toychest so you just hve to buy 1 storage item or do you think it depends what your storing? I thought maybe I lace box for vibrating stuff or glass then the other if I decide to get handcuffs or blindflods,ticklers or bdsm kind of stuff or misc like sexy dice or a small game...

This reminds me of the box I used to keep my diary in when I was a lot younger. Funny thing is, our house got broken into, they took the box with my diary but left my jewelry box alone. (And this was about a week after my 13th birthday where my gramma gave me a BHgold necklace and my dad got me a ring. I was so lucky.)
