Sex and Mischief steele balls - vaginal balls discontinued by Sportsheets - review by phoenixfire

Use These Sex and Mischief Steele balls are ben wa balls intended to be used for kegels or stimulation, by wearing in the vagina and holding them in. The intent is to strengthen the PC muscles, which results in better urinary control and sexual pleasure in the long run. Or at least that is what they claim. They come in all shapes and sizes, but these particular ones are round, unattached, untextured and small.

Before I get on to what I thought of them, here are some basic facts about the Sex and Mischief Steele Balls by Sportsheets.

Materials: Made of: Stainless steel, hence the name. Stainless steel is a 10 on the EF safety scale. The balls are non-porous, had no particular smell coming out of the package. They are phtalates-free and safe to share with others, as long as they are cleaned properly.

Dimensions: circumference 1", length and diameter each 1/2". They are similar to a small pinball in regards to weight.


Care instructions: Wash with soap and water before and after each use. I tended to use cold water, and these balls absorbed temperature well. I found the sudden shock of temperature play a bonus.

Packaging: Super simple. These balls came in a black and silver box typical of other Sex and Mischief toys with a small black storage bag included. They also came with clear written instructions to clean the balls before use, but I would think the average Edenite would do that anyway, right? I threw the box out fairly promptly, but the black bag the balls came with serves as decent storage. So does a small Ziploc bag.

Performance: The balls didn't connect or have any sort of a retrieval cord. I think they would have been simpler and more comfortable for me to use if they had featured one. I have seen other balls on this site that have that functionality and I might---*might* one day consider getting some of those instead. I think a retrieval cord would have made it easier for me to go about my daily activities with the balls in, rather than being stuck in my bedroom during practice time. It would have offered me something a lot closer to the experience I was expecting.

I am perfectly capable of doing kegels without any sort of aid; I think I'll stick to that for the foreseeable future. Maybe these would make amusing marbles if thoroughly cleaned first? Sometimes good things do not come in small packages.

These ben wa balls just didn't do anything for me. They came right out as soon as I stood up, no matter how often I practiced lying down. I didn't feel stronger orgasms after some experience with these either, so I assume they didn't strengthen my PC muscles much. (I do know where they are and can control them to some extent.) I started out using them one at a time, to see if I could build up some strength that way. No luck. I don't know whether these particular balls are to blame or whether all ben wa balls are a bust, but either way these were a very pretty flop. I was very disappointed in them. I give them a 2 star rating, much as I dislike them, because well--they might work for somebody.
