The Liberator Wedge is the perfect beginner piece of Liberator furniture for those who are looking to spice up their sex lives and take those usual positions to the next level. The wedge looks somewhat small at 7" high, 14" deep, 24" wide, and 15" on the incline, and I honestly wondered how such a small foam triangle could improve our sex significantly. I'd heard how it helps to achieve deeper penetration and I was intrigued. I'd also read that it helps with fatigue from trying to maintain positions, so I decided to purchase one and see what all the hype was about. After all, if sex could be more comfortable and we can achieve deeper penetration, what's $80?

The craftsmanship of the Liberator Wedge is outstanding. A nylon inner cover encases the dense foam that comprises the wedge, and a microfiber plush-feeling outer cover encases the nylon cover. The thing that really struck me as genius about the design was the zipper. You know when you buy a cheap zip-up hoodie that has the small plastic teeth on the zipper, and eventually the zipper starts to pucker? Ugh, that's so annoying! Well, both covers on the wedge have the BIG thick plastic teeth that don't pucker; brilliant! I'm impressed with the simple, yet brilliant design detail.

The Wedge has not lost its shape, not even one tiny bit, and I feel like it will hold up for a long time, even with regular use.

Another great thing about the wedge is that you can just tell the kids that it's a pillow for old people. Our 13 year old son saw it on the bed one day because we forgot to put it away, and he was curious as to why we had a big purple pillow that was so hard and big. I just told him that when you get older, you gotta have sturdier pillows when you sleep and he seemed to buy it. It is quite comfy to prop yourself to read a book with the wedge.

Our favorite use of the wedge comes into play in the Cowgirl position. My husband had been mentioning how his back was starting to hurt from the Cowgirl position, since he thrusts into me while I'm riding him. We put the wedge under his legs so that the incline was rising towards his knees (small part towards his butt, tall part towards his knees). This provided him with some much needed support for his legs and it also gave me some place to put my feet. Using the wedge, he's able to thrust into me much easier since his legs (from the knees up) are elevated. I also feel like it provides us with a deeper penetration since I can comfortably rest my feet on the wedge and I don't get nearly as tired from bouncing and riding him. Cowgirl has always been one of our favorite positions, but with the addition of the wedge its just like a pleasure overload.

Another favorite use is when I'm lying on my stomach and we place the wedge underneath me, with the incline sloping down towards my head. The depth of penetration and pleasure from this angle, combined with the wedge, is almost unimaginable. I'm able to relax completely while my husband thrusts from behind. I don't get tired at all because my torso is supported by the wedge.

The last of our favorite positions is for me on my back (wedge still in the same place) and have my hips elevated on the wedge and my legs either up in the air or on my husband's shoulders or chest. Again, it's just so easy to relax and maintain position. In this position, I can throw both of my legs over one of his shoulders and the penetration seems even deeper than one foot on each shoulder. Recently, we tried adding a memory foam pillow under the wedge to provide just a little bit of extra height while in this position (yeah, the Ramp is our next addition). No matter how we use it, the feeling of being penetrated so deeply has made us fall in love with the wedge.

While we have found other positions (including oral) that the wedge improves, these 3 are by far the best for us.

I honestly don't remember much about what the packaging was like, all I can say is that it was in a big box. There was a nice little booklet included with the wedge that shows some (or all, I'm not sure) of Liberator's products and has descriptions included with pictures. It was a nice booklet that made me want a lot of new stuff!

Simply unzip the outer cover of the Wedge and toss it into the washer to clean and tumble dry low. I used the The cover seems sturdy enough to hold up to a ton of washings. Our dryer does not have a low heat setting, so I used the normal/high heat setting and there was no damage done to the cover.

As for storage: we keep our wedge between the bed and the wall when not in use. Having 4 cats, fur balls are common in our house, and I have not noticed any hair sticking to the oh-so-cozy outer cover, unless we get lazy and throw the wedge under the bed.

I've tried finding my g-spot before I got the Wedge and never had much success. I knew where it should be, but never found it very stimulating. One day, I decided to try again, but this time I'd use the wedge for support. I braced my knees on the Wedge (tallest part of the wedge facing me, so the triangle shape was pointing away from me) and started searching for my g-spot. Found it right away and within minutes I squirted all over our quilt and the wedge. The wedge really made stimulating my g-spot fun; I was able to maintain a comfortable position and my arm didn't get tired since I could brace it on the wedge. Clean-up was super simple, unzip the cover and wash.
