The Devine Lace Toy Box is a lockable storage box for holding some medium and small sized toys. It has a pretty design and is discreet enough to keep others from knowing what is inside. The Devine Lace Toy Box is a medium sized storage solution for those of us looking for a way to better organize our toy collections. After orders and orders of toys, books, and movies I finally decided that I needed to get at least a small storage solution so that my collection wouldn't be so out of control. I am very pleased with the Devine Lace Toy Box.
It has a pretty floral lace design on the top of the box, which can be ordered in red or a dark purple. The red was out of stock when I got this so I went with the purple. Other than this the box is pretty discreet because there is nothing about it that screams "I am hiding sex toys" when you look at it. The sides are black are made of faux-leather. This material is pretty sturdy, so you don't have to worry about it breaking and all of your toys falling out. The top opens and is attached to a satin ribbon that keeps it from opening all the way and leaning too far back. The inside is the same as the outside; it is smooth and black as well.
I was happy that it also comes with a lock which can help deter some people from opening it. The lock is similar to locks that are on diaries and could possibly be broken if someone tried. Right now I have no one to keep my toys locked away from so this is not an issue for me. Without the lock, it can be closed with the clasp that holds the lock and this also keeps the box securely closed.
It is a little smaller than a shoe box and I was expecting something a tiny bit bigger, but it still works very well for me. I can keep it out on my dresser for easy access, but sometimes I keep it in my closet if there is any chance someone nosy is coming over. This box is 9.5 inches long, so you are limited in the length of what can be stored in here. The toys that I wanted to keep in this one are all under 9 inches, so this was not a problem for me. It has a width of 5 inches and a height of 5 inches. The height is really what makes it so good at fitting so much inside because toys can be stacked on top of one another nicely. Keeping things stacked one of top of the other can be a bit annoying if you don't know which toy is in which bag, but it also keeps my glass dildos from rolling and knocking into each other and possible chipping.

Experience
Right now the Devine Lace Toy Box keeps all of the dildos that were spending time in my top dresser drawer safe and organized. Which means this area will stay neat until I get more toys to take up this space again. Right now I have the Tantus Curve, Sasha Grey Plug (small), Emerald Explorer, Twisted Pleasure, Gold Laced G, Ella, Hardwood Didlo #230, Rainbow G, and a couple sample packets of lube inside of my box. There is still room for 2-3 more toys in here depending on the size. With all of this stuff in mine this box has some weight to it which I think would make anyone who found it all the more curious about what was inside.
Overall I am really happy with my Devine Lace Toy Box as it works well for the items I planned on keeping inside. I do plan on buying a larger storage box soon because many of my other toys are taking up space in other parts of my room.

At the moment, this storage box is still getting a lot of use and is completely full! It works well for storing a good amount of toys while still looking pretty discreet. If you have a smaller collection or only want to use this for certain things then this is a good option. So far my lock has held up well and I haven't had any issues with the keys not working, which is another plus.

Devine toy lace box – flimsy lock

I am looking into getting myself a proper toy box. I really like the look of this one, but the lock looks super flimsy. Do you think you could replace the lock with a different one?

I don't have that box, but I can't see why you couldn't replace the lock with something a bit more sturdy. I'm pretty sure a lot of other people have :)

One of the reviews mentioned a bit of fraying on the lace; from my experience with other lace items, I know that could potentially happen if it's not higher-quality or well put together. Can anyone who has had one of the lace boxes for awhile assure me it will hold up and not look messy and horrible after a year of use? :) -

I am not sure when you posted this, but we recently shipped them the corset style. Regarding your lace fraying issue, any lace receives lots of friction will show signs of ware and tear. The lace we use is not the super delicate french lace of lingerie, so has longer staying power than that certainly. We hope you love your DevineToy box, whichever you choose.

Do you think a few small electronics would fit in here?

a digital camera,a kindle,ipod touch and a nintendo 3ds?
Does that seem like it would fit nicely in this box? Would this bee a good choice or would they fit oddly in there? I'm not worried alot I just have a sister I don't trust and it makes me feel good to lock up things she might run off wih...SHe has been known to go through my bedroom and even take sexual things like the sex card position deck or porn then she leaves it lying around in her bedroom and then I get introuble for having those things.....BOOO! SHe is 21 now living here with her 30 year old boyfriend...I've wondered if they have dug around in here or if she gets urges too... -
I'm not entirely sure about the Kindle, but after watching Mistress Kay's video review on it, it looks like it would hold everything else easily and without problem. Although she recommends buying your own small padlock if you really want to keep people out of it. You could probably even keep a few other things in there with the camera, iPod, and Nintendo.

The Nintendo 3ds isn't out yet but will be in 2011...

would it store well under your bed? I have a cat who likes to go under my bed not sure if she would touch this...If you wanted 2 of these would you be comfortable just storing it un top of your dresser or would u just get the devine toychest so you just hve to buy 1 storage item or do you think it depends what your storing? I thought maybe I lace box for vibrating stuff or glass then the other if I decide to get handcuffs or blindflods,ticklers or bdsm kind of stuff or misc like sexy dice or a small game...
