This is a great little metal and neoprene spreader bar, that is fun for light bondage play, although I suppose that depends on your definition of what is light. The closures around the ankles and wrists are made of Velcro, and therefore do not allow for any locking devices, however, I found that that I was unable to escape them. My wrists and ankles were far enough apart, where I could not escape it I wanted to. It is always surprising to me how strong Velcro can be.

It has a metal frame down the center, to keep you from being able to fold it, and keeping it from being too flexible. It can be uncomfortable if in it too long, not the device itself but more the positioning. I would recommend a more rugged bondage bar, something made of solid steel and with locks for the more intense players. However, this definately does the job, and it allows for quick release when necessary.

The neoprene can be a little scratchy on the skin, but not usually unless you wear it for longer than an hour or more. I have pretty small wrists, and usually have trouble finding cuffs, or anything small enough for my bone structure. These cuffs fit around my ankles and wrists, tight enough so I can't escape. They also have a significant amount of room, to allow for most people with larger wrists and ankles.

I would not recommend getting it dirty, as I imagine the neoprene would be almost impossible to clean. I would recommend this more for people that enjoy light bondage play, than for those who are serious players. I do think that someone who is more flexible in their wrists than I am, would be able to reach the Velcro straps allowing themselves to escape.
