Liberator BonBon by Liberator - review by Tessa Taboo

The Liberator BonBon is a half-spherical pillow-esque piece of Liberator sex furniture, with an opening on the top meant for inserting a toy. It's great to use solo, but the reason we bought it was for double penetration. It comes in several colors and we bought fuschia.

Let's start from the inside. The shape of the pillow is made by 'foam' and reminds me of a very firm memory foam material. It's not nearly as squishy as those memory foam mattresses which is pretty much what I thought the Liberator gear was made from before I ordered the BonBon. But it's firm enough to where, after vigorous use, there isn't even indents from my legs in the foam.

Around the foam is a cover made from nylon, so it cleans up easily should it get wet and with any luck, it will. The black nylon cover also goes down inside the hole to protect it and is a little loose in that area so that you have extra material to work with, should you want to use a toy with a flared base (more on this below).

And then we have the top cover. This is the colored part with the black ends. What I imagined it to be, and part of the reason it took me so long to decide to order something from Liberator, was a stain collecting piece of microfiber that attracted dust bunnies under the bed. I am pleasantly surprised though, at what it actually turned out to be. The cover is made of microfiber, but it doesn't really feel like the stuff they make those lint collecter brushes out of. Here is a picture of it, after use with a dildo and silicone lube:



You can see the very slight stains (I shouldn't call them stains... they did wash out) but they are so slight that they are really barely even noticable, especially without the camera flash. I mean, I don't squirt or anything, but I can assure you that I was pretty damn wet when I was done with this thing.

The whole thing is about 15 inches long, 8 inches tall and 12 inches wide. I had read some reviews for Liberator pieces that made me worried that, at 5 feet tall, my stubby legs wouldn't be able to straddle the BonBon, but I did with ease.

The slit in the middle, or 'toy hole' as I like to call it, is about 5 inches long. I was worried that meant that the toy would slip around quite a bit, but it was great for perfectly angling toys. Especially for trying to position for double penetration, which is how we used it. The hole is about 3 inches deep. This is important to know because if you plan on using a toy without a flared base, it will take that many inches off of the length. The toy that I bought to go with it is pictured below, in the similar products area. If you choose to use a toy with a flared base, you won't lose more than half an inch or so, because there is this special pocket in the foam towards the top of the toy hole, where you can insert a flared base.

A few notes: For traditional vibes that twist to adjust the speed, once inserted you are not going to be able to adjust it. So make sure to get something with a separate controller if that matters to you. Another option is using a dildo with a separate vibrating cock ring for clitoral stimulation. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet you could also put a smaller bullet in between the microfiber and nylon covers for clitoral stimulation as well.

As mentioned before, we bought the BonBon for double penetration. Unless you have another guy on standby, this is going to be about the best option for those that want to experience it. Thus far, this is the only thing it has been used for, but even with that in mind, I can attest to the quality of this product. It held up great, kept everything in position, didn't slide around on our sheets, and the microfiber felt luxurious between my legs.

It came packaged with a cardboard sleeve over the pillow with some packaging information and a plastic bag around that. It came with a fancy little book too, that showed different liberator pieces and different ways to use them.

It didn't have any care instructions with it, but the nylon cover can be wiped down with soap and water. The microfiber cover however, according to the Liberator website, can be washed in cold water. It says you can tumble dry, but to be on the safe side, I never put things like this in the dryer because I'm afraid they will shrink. So I will stick to air drying.

The slit in the top of the pillow isn't immediatley noticable from a distance, so in that respect, it's discreet. But if it was on your bed and someone sat on your bed and noticed the slit, it would be a dead giveaway or they would at the very least, probably question it. So overall, it's not the most discreet piece of Liberator gear, but it could be worse.

A little story:

When we went in for our first attempt at double penetration, I put the toy in the hole and got myself positioned while my husband was behind me, lubing himself up and preparing my back door for his grand entrance. The combination of riding the toy and him rubbing my butt was enough to send me into ecstasy before he even penetrated me. And he was so turned on by watching me that it certainly didn't take long for him to finish. It was also the first time that we had anal sex that I was yelling at him to thrust harder.

Needless to say.... it was a good experience. Worth WAY more than 5 stars.
