The liberator wedge is a positional aid designed to elevate the pelvis for easier and more comfortable sex. It can be used for a variety of positions and is limited only by your imagination. The three most common ways we use it are for missionary, doggy, and oral sex. The wedge raises the pelvis 7 inches off the bed. Those 7 inches really helps to align the body parts for missionary or cunnilingus. It keeps the body comfortable and relaxed. It also provides a great visual vantage point for fellatio when hubby uses it to prop his head. You might wonder what makes this better than a pillow, the answer in in the support. The wedge does not lose its shape like a pillow or blanket would. It is crush resistant even when full weight is on it. It also doesn't slip and slide across the bed like pillows might. It stays exactly where you put it.

The wedge is a quality piece designed to last. It is 24 inches long, 7 inches high and 14 inches wide. It inclines at a 27 degree angle. Eden carries them in blue, black, or purple. The microfiber cover is soft and plush very similar to velvet. If feels great on bare skin. It has a zipper, but it has never caused any discomfort. Underneath the microfiber is a nylon waterproof cover that protects the foam core. The core is polyurethane foam. This is what gives the wedge its shape. It is very firm and supportive. The wedge differs from a pillow in that it is firm. There is not much give here. The firm support is what makes it so great for sex. It is crush resistant. I am plus size and it still maintains its shape beautifully every time I use it.

As a positional aid, the wedge really delivers. That little bit of elevation creates a good angle for deep penetration and hitting my G-spot. We have good sex without it, but this makes great sex pretty effortless. With the wedge I don't have to continually lift my hips to meet him. It holds me in place without any strain so we can just concentrate on each other. It also stays in place on the bed very well. We may need to readjust a bit during a prolonged session of missionary style. But with doggy style we have never had to adjust it no matter how vigorous things become. It came with a small book of suggested positions for this piece and other Liberator pieces. It was easy and fun to try out their suggestions and come up with our own. Liberator sells gear bags perfectly designed for their products. My wedge did not come with one, and currently Eden does not carry them. You can, however, purchase them direct from Liberator. The wedge does collect lint and a bag of some sort would be handy for storing. The gear bag would be nice, but a king size pillow case or large duffel bag would work just as well. We store it in a pillow case at home and use a duffel bag when traveling.

The wedge is very easy to care for. The dense polyurethane foam that gives the wedge its shape is protected by two covers. Directly on top of the foam is the black nylon waterproof cover. If anything should seep through the top cover, this will catch it. The nylon can be wiped down if needed. On top of this is the microfiber cover. It conveniently unzips and can be thrown in the wash. I wash it in cold water with my towels and then throw it all in the dryer. It's very user friendly. The cover zips back on the wedge and is ready for more action. It is also easy to wipe up any stray stains with a wet wipe or just a bit of dish soap in between regular washes.

The wedge does like to collect lint so a lint brush would be handy. Keeping it inside a pillow case when not in use would eliminate the lint problem. It is small enough that storage shouldn't be a problem. We usually keep ours on the bed behind regular pillows. That way it is always accessible. Under the bed, in a closet, or leaning up against the wall would also work.

I believe the wedge is our most frequently used sex toy ever. It sits on the bed in all its luxurious glory just begging to be used. We are planning on buying the conversion set that would turn it into a playful restraint device. That should add even more hours of fun. Although it might seem pricey, the benefits to us have been well worth the cost. It would be a great addition to anyone's bedroom.

I love everything about my wedge. It's comfortable and allows for deep penetration and access to the all important G-spot. Just feeling the soft plushness is often enough to get me in the mood for a nice long romp. I highly recommend this piece to everyone.
