The ramp and wedge are stiff foam pillows designed to help you and your partner position yourself for easier or more adventurous sexual positions. Many people find certain positions painful, tiring, or just plain too difficult to accomplish; and as a result tend to settle into just one or two positions. The ramp and wedge can help you break the monotony and find new ways to have fun.

The set comes with a booklet which will give you ideas (some more practical than others) for a variety of positions. But they're not only useful for getting you into the more unusual positions; they can also help with the old standbys as well.

For example, I find the ramp useful for the woman-on-top position. I'm a bit heavier than I should be, and sometimes find that position uncomfortable when my partner is pressing up against my overly-large abdomen. But if I position my hips on top of the ramp (with the wedge optionally positioned under my head/neck) I can enjoy having her ride on top of me without my tummy being squished.

The ramp can also be used for missionary position, to lift a woman's vulva and make her more accessible. It's also great for rear entry, giving her support so she doesn't have to hold herself up.

The ramp and wedge not only useful for vaginal or anal intercourse; I find the ramp and especially the wedge useful for oral sex as well. The foam is exactly the right density; firm enough to support your weight, but soft enough to be comfortable. The inner nylon lining protects the foam and provides a slippery surface should you choose to use it.

Normally you will use them with the microfiber cover in place. The microfiber is soft and pleasant to the touch, but has the interesting property of allowing the two pieces to stick together. You can position the wedge wherever you want on the ramp, and it won't slip or slide around. This can be very useful.

In addition to the nylon and microfiber covers, the set also includes handy travel bags, complete with straps for carrying them. These make it a snap to take your shapes with you when you go on vacation. (The ramp may be a bit big for that, but the wedge is pillow-sized, and easy to take with you.)

The craftsmanship of these products is superb. The seams are sewn well, and the zippers are tough. I've had mine for years now, and they show no signs of wear and tear at all. Like all of Liberator's products, the ramp and wedge are made right here in the United States.

My girlfriend and I have been enjoying our ramp and wedge for several years now. We use them nearly every time we have sex, for both intercourse and oral sex. We find sex to be less tiring and more enjoyable when using the Liberator shapes. We're still finding new ways to use them all the time.

As you might imagine, these come in a giant cardboard box. Nobody will guess what's inside; it looks like you're getting a piece of furniture or something. Once you get them out of the box, you don't need the box anymore. (Your cat may claim it though!) The black outer covers will be more convenient for transporting them, complete with handy straps.

You will want to wash the microfiber cover after every few uses. It's machine washable, so that's no problem, but you should be careful to follow the washing instructions in order to avoid damaging them.
