I am so happy that we got this swing. It is probably our best investment so far. We will definitely get a lot of use from it in the near future.

Use

My boyfriend and I have been talking about a swing for almost two years now. This looked like the perfect product to try. We have kids, so we didn't want to have a hook suspended or a big swing stand. They are teens, so it's hard to sneak things by them. This is perfect for couples who want to be adventurous without having a bulky setup to have to hide or put up. You can use it on one door or between two, which gives you some versatility as well.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material

The bars that hold the swing in place over your door are made of acrylic. The straps themselves are made of neoprene and nylon. There is plush padding inside the straps so that it doesn't cause discomfort. It seems very sturdy. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 pounds, but he is 6'5 and 270 pounds. He tugged on it pretty hard and gave it a pretty good workout, and it did not budge.

Performance

Once we situated it over the doors, we started by putting one strap each over opposite-facing doors in the hallway. Getting it adjusted only took a few minutes. It worked well like that, but we both preferred it with both straps over the same door. Be sure to lock the door that you are using, and make sure it's completely shut. You could get hurt if you don't because it will pop off the door. When I am facing the door with my feet in the straps, it is incredible. When I am facing him, legs through the straps is quite a fun position too.

Packaging

The box that it comes in is anything but discreet. It is part of what made me buy it though. It shows a beautiful woman in a few different positions on the swing (great marketing!). There weren't any instructions---but, again, they show pictures on the box depicting how to use it. It would be very easy to throw into an overnight bag and take it with you.

Care and Maintenance

For cleaning I would suggest a warm, soapy rag to wipe it down; then let it air dry. As it is made of porous material and body fluids may get on it, I would not suggest sharing it. I stored mine back in the box it came in and stuck it in my bottom drawer.

Experience

We had a blast with this. It is great for couples. However, since the straps are not adjustable in size, a larger person might not be as comfortable in it. You may want to do a bit of upper arm exercises: we used it quite a bit the first weekend, and it definitely gave my arms a workout because I had to use my arms to hold myself up. It worked great for us because, with our height difference, some positions we try cause one or the other some discomfort. It is a must-have for couples!

@liilii080 my doors are a dark brown stain and I didn't notice anything. But if you get into it I can see that it might scratch or dent a painted door because of the friction that it puts on it. @pleasure Piratess, It workd pretty good like that, I needed a little help getting situated to start but thats what hes there for...among a few other things

I dont have any back problems but he does from time to time. He hasnt noticed anything. But it puts quite a bit of strain on your arms and I can see that maybe pulling a bit, especially in the lower region if you are facing forward. I think it would work well though with female facing the door because its you feet that are in the straps and most of the weight would be in your legs. Hope this helps.

  • Are door sex swings uncomfortable?
    • Does anyone have these? Are they annoying to use? I feel like they would be.
    • They can be uncomfortable if the straps are digging in, but I've found that it's not that hard to have my husband hold me up just enough to take the pressure off the straps without having to actually hold me up.
    • I have never tried a door swing. I am afraid of the door breaking. The modern doors in houses and apartments are hollow-core, I do not believe they would hold up to any heavy use with a door swing. I would assume that it would feel similar to a regular sex swing. If you set it up right, they are pretty comfortable.
