The love swing is an excellent addition to any bedroom. I will certainly put a lot more variety into your bedroom life. However, first things first, you'll have to install the swing. You'll need to secure it to the ceiling which means finding a stud. Once the main screw is in, it remains fixed in the ceiling. A small (1/2 inch) steel ring will be visible in your bedroom ceiling. I recommend installing it to the side of your bed, not directly in the middle. Using the side of the bed will make getting into and out of the swing a little easier. Your partner won't be able to stand with the swing above the middle of the bed. There are steel stands that are sold separately that work well, but you'll need a room large enough to set it up. The material is very durable and should last for years.
Once everything is installed and ready to go, the swing will be able to hold a partner up to 200 pounds with a spring suspension (or 400 lbs without). Getting into the swing may require a little bit a practice. The straps are going to swing around freely (that's the point afterall) so you'll find yourself chasing the straps as they spin freely. After getting situated though, you'll find you and your partner enjoying the freedom of movement that only the love swing can provide. The love swing can allow you and your partner to experiment with many different variations that may have been previously too awkward or too exhausting to do without the love swing. The height can be adjusted for different sized couples and the straps can easily accommodate large and small frames. Unfortunately, the straps themselves can be a little uncomfortable out of the box. Some seat covers can be purchased separately and greatly improve the comfort since there is no back to the straps giving support.

I still love this swing, but the lack of a padded seat on the swing does get a little old. However, you can find replacement or aftermarket pads to go on the seats yourself. I hope you enjoy...I know I will.

I don't have one but If I did I would have it in my living room near my pole. If my family sees it I wont care, its my life and Im a grown woman and don't need your permission so why bother to hiding it.

We have this one, and it works well. I hang it from a better mount than the eyebolt that comes with it. Check out this thread link to see what I'm talking about. I also have a heavy duty spring instead of the one that came with it.
These swings can be a lot of fun. There are positions you can try that would be very difficult anywhere else. All in all, I'd have to say I like it. -

You'd really recommend putting this right above the bed? I feel like it'd be really hard for the standing partner to get leverage on a bed. I'm glad you guys could manage it - we couldn't.
Also, this swing will hold up to 400 pounds. I totally agree about the straps being uncomfortable though.
That looks interesting, though I don't think I trust my ceiling enough at all to be dangling my body from it.

I have it installed above the edge of the bed. You can stand on the floor immediately beside the swing while the swing is above the bed. If you change your orientation to the other direction, you can kneel or lay on the bed, depending on what you're trying to do. So far, I've never tried a position where I was standing on the bed and not the floor.
