Let me share my secret
I would recommend this for everyone. If your worried about the price, you can always use a coupon. For me, it was totally worth the price. It locks and looks beautiful. What more could a person ask for?Published: January 16, 2012

The original toibocks is a wonderful locking storage solution. This was the perfect solution for me. I have family that is very nosy when they visit. I also deal with a very nosy 6 year old who enjoys getting into things he is not supposed to. The toibocks can be used not only to store your toys but anything that has value including money, medicine, jewelry, and just about anything else that will fit.
The toibocks is made of press-board, but you cannot tell when you're looking at it. It has a very nice cherry wood finish and velveteen on the inside. It has two separate areas. The top shelf, which does not lock, is available as soon as you open the top of the box. The bottom is why you would buy it. It has a secret lock mechanism. The key is magnetic and round with the Toibocks logo (which is a Tb inside a solid silver circle) on the front and a velvet paper back. You absolutely will not be able to get into your toibocks if you don't have the secret key. This can be a great thing or a bad thing depending on if you lose your "key". This box is 11 inches in length, 7 inches wide, and the whole thing is 6 1/4 inches tall. The secret compartment is 11 inches long, 7 inches wide, but only about 3 inches tall. It weighs a total of 5 lbs when it is empty.
The Original Toibocks comes in a white cardboard box with its picture on the front and back. On the side it had the "available" colors. Although I don't think they have any other than the dark cherry. Inside the box The Toibocks was very well insulated with solid Styrofoam packing and bubble wrap. Inside were the warranty the key and the instructions.
It's not great for storage if you have a larger collection. I store my favorite glass pieces in it, so they don't "accidentally" get broken. I can store up to six glass dildos, and still have a little room on the side for one or two smaller toys. So if you have a large collection, and would just like to store some of your favorites, this is great. It is fairly easy to take care of. I just make sure to dust regularly. The inner lining is made of a velvet type paper. If the inside gets a little dirty, use a little lukewarm water on a damp washcloth. It should clean right up.

Experience
All in all, I am very happy with my toibocks. I am able to have it right in the open without some of my more religious family members being judgmental. This has so far been one of my favorite and most useful storage options.

I still love this toy storage. My father came over today and was messing with it and could not figure out how to open the bottom. Total relief as I have my favorite glass toys in there and would be mortified if he found them. He even asked where to buy one for himself and his wife after I told him I kept important documents in it. I would still recommend this to anyone that would like classy, beautiful, and locking toy storage. Especially if your family is as nosy as mine.

ToiBocks is the only discreet storage designed specifically for novelties, that you can keep on the nightstand, dresser, or desk and it will not look out of place.
Due to variations in humidity and temperature throughout the world, and the small lock mechanism, ToiBocks is manufactured using MDF. We tried many different kinds of actual wood to create ToiBocks (over 3 years of R/D) and found the humidity/temperature of real wood made it constrict/contract and interfered with the effectiveness of the lock mechanism.
The design and function of the box are what increased the manufacturing costs, leading to the higher price.

What do you guys think of this new company? I think while they are expense, it is an awesome idea. According to a video I watched, the owner said they have 9 products coming out by the end of the year! I am very interested to see what all of them are as only two (the original ToiBocks, and the ToiTissue). I think the pieces are gorgeous and seem like an awesome idea for people with lots of guest or children.
The ToiBocks locks via magnetic key, so even if someone suspected it had a compartment in the bottom, they wouldn't be able to get into it unless they had one and knew they worked (and had a key). While it wouldn't hide very many toys, it would be great for keeping a few favorites easily accessed. I've been looking at more storage options lately, and it's been hard trying to decide what I want to get! At least now I know, even if they are out of my price range at the moment. I definitely want the ToiTissue for condoms, and I want the ToiBocks for my favorites on my dresser. I am really hoping they make something a little larger too, though I feel faint when I think how expensive larger pieces would be. No doubt these are high end and absolutely gorgeous.

They're nice- but completely not my style. I don't care for any wood finishes with my furniture. They'd be totally out of place. Like Backseat- I need large storage. Any really small toys I have that would fit in those I just keep in my nightstand.
They're just awfully expensive, neat, but pricey.

Thanks for the review. I have heard that if you register your toibocks with the company (via their website) they will send you a replacement key if you lose yours.
