Liberator Flip Ramp - position pillow by Liberator - review by MamaDivine

The Flip Ramp by Liberator is a piece of "sex furniture" that allows you to arrange yourself (more comfortably) into different sexual positions. This piece of furniture is great to use in many different ways for a few different things. First, you can use this as a sex furniture piece that allows you to manuever yourself during sex OR it folds in half, to create a "Cube" which can also aid in sexual positioning or you can use it as an ottoman!


The Liberator Flip Ramp arrived today and I was so excited, I could barely stand myself. I have been wanting one of these for some time now, as has my husband. We suffer from "blah positioning" during sex. Because of my fibromyalgia and several other aches and pains, its hard for me to really get comfy during sex, or to try any other positions that may cause me discomfort.

The Liberator Flip Ramp if VERY stiff. When I say stiff, I mean that when I sit on this thing, it barely makes a dent. It feels almost like I am laying on a board. Now, granted, laying on my back on the flip ramp, its comfortable. Laying on my belly, with knees on the thinner end of the ramp, feels ok too. However, when motion is applied to this situation, I find that my rib cage or shoulder blades are digging into the foam and there isn't enough "give" to really be comfortable.

In the middle of the flip ramp, there is a crease. This crease allows you to flip the ramp in half. This creates a cube. When I sit on the cube (and mind you, Im not a "small" woman by any means) I can feel a slight give into the foam, but not by much. I can easily set my drinks on it, without them tipping or spilling. My laptop fits nicely on it, without any give or tipping of the computer. This piece of furniture is quite versatile. However, if you are using it strictly for sex furniture, prepare for stiffness.

I read somewhere that the Liberator Combo or the Liberator ramp was much softer and has more give. I cannot hold to that claim, as I have not tried/owned the combo or ramp yet though. I do have a few suggestions to the ramp. If you would like to extend the "cube" into a rectangular shape, you could always buy two of them and stack them together. Again, I haven't tried this, but I will be getting another in the future to try this. Also, you can use this for watching movies on the floor. I have an 8 month old daughter that is beginning to walk and plays on the floor a lot too, so I will be able to get down to her level with this ramp, by being more comfortable on the floor.

The feel of the ramp is awesome. It is a very soft material. Its very comfortable and plush to the touch. I got the red one, and it is more of a deeper red than a "true" bright red. Which is nice, because I was a little leery about the color.

CLEAN UP:
What I love about this ramp is that the "cover" zips off of both ends (the crease in the center divides the two ends). You can unzip the two ends, pull out your foam and throw it in the washer! Because of the material though, I would not put it in the dyer, it may shrink!

This ramp claims to be moisture resistant with lining on the foam padding. I have yet to test out this theory on how "resistant" it really is though.

This ramp would also make a great massage "bed" too. It allows your arms to drape downwards and lifts you off the floor/bed for easy reach to the massager.

I have to say that I think I judged the Liberator Flip Ramp a bit too soon. Granted, it was stiff as all get out when it first arrived, however, I have found that after using it for about a week now, (sitting on it, playing on it, sex, etc etc) it has softened a bit. Its still holding quite firm. Don't get me wrong, the material is fabulous and does bounce back to its original form after use, very well might I add. However, it doesn't feel as rough or stiff when trying to maneuver sexual positioning. (If that makes sense?). Maybe I'm just getting used to it now. We have found several wonderful uses for this cushion and find that it was a GREAT buy! I have no regrets. I have used this while playing on the floor with my 8 month old, when I am couponing (I have to sit on the floor because my coupons don't all fit on the table anymore), I use it during massages (draping our arms over the edges makes massages much easier for us!) I have also found that doggy style is no longer that big of a painful task for me because of the angle that I am able to position myself into with the ramp. Before, I had a great deal of pain with this position. Now, its quite less. We also have found that you can fold the ramp up somewhat to position it next to a couch or bed frame (if this makes sense?) and get some pretty interesting positions! All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and I will definitely be looking into some of the smaller liberator furniture in the future! PS..My Pomeranian and 8 month old are obsessed with this ramp. I can't get them to stay off it! Which is fine, because now that baby girl is learning to walk-all I have to do is lay it out next to her and she walks along it. If she falls...she is padded! When not in use by my husband and I, its her own personal play gym!
