Fetish Fantasy Elite vibrating 4.5" thick dildo - traditional vibrator discontinued by Pipedream - review by Missmarc

After getting the Bend Over Beginner Kit, I have been searching for other dildos to use with my harness. The Fetish Fantasy Elite line made by Pipedream caught my attention. Their line includes harnesses, vibrating/non-vibrating silicone dildos of different sizes, and other fun products. I picked the vibrating 4.5” thick dildo as an alternative to my Tantus Silk medium. I loved that it has more girth and it vibrates.

The vibrating 4.5” thick dildo serves as a traditional dildo with the added excitement of vibration. As a dildo, it can be inserted into both the vagina and the anus. It can also be used as a vibrator to stimulate other erogenous zones on the human body. The flared base makes it safe for anal use and is harness compatible. This dildo is great both for solo use and partnered fun. You can strap-on this dildo with a harness and enjoy the thrill of penetrating your partner’s vagina or anus. There is a strong suction cup on the bottom of the base. You can stick the base to any flat surface, and enjoy riding a dildo growing out of the floors, walls, tiles or doors without needing to hold it by hand. You can also add more fun by adding vibration to all your actions at the press of a button.

The toy also comes with a bottle of water-based lubricant, anti-bacterial toy cleaner, and a silicone blindfold. With the dildo, they can make a nice kit to enhance your experience.

The dildo is made of 100% medical-grade silicone. It is body safe, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalate free. The packaging labeled the material as “Elite Silicone” and claims it quickly warms to body temperature and conforms to the body’s contours. I am not sure how the “Elite Silicone” is different from medical-grade silicone used on other toys. Being a vibrating dildo, it’s not really “100% silicone”. At the bottom of the dildo, there is a cord connected to a remote. The cord is made of rubber and the remote is made of plastic. I imagine inside the dildo the motor is also not made of silicone. Due to the plastic casing of the remote, it feels slippery and is hard to hold with a lubed hand, so make sure your hands are not lubed before trying to press the buttons.

The silicone is purple and has a matte finish. It is not as shiny and smooth compared to the Tantus Silk. It has no odor. While smooth to the touch, the surface does have some drag. It attracts lint and can create a lot of friction. I recommend using a lot of lube with it for penetration. As much as the package is trying to convince users that the silicone conforms to body’s contours, I found the silicone a little hard. While the dildo can bend, it’s not very soft. The silicone is not squishy, and requires some effort to bend. However, I agree with the package that it quickly warms to body temperature. The texture is friendly to both beginner and advanced users. Again, please use ample lube for easier insertion.

The dildo has curved bulb as its head. The bulb is thicker than the base of the shaft, and is shaped for g-spot stimulation. There’s a seam around the silhouette of the dildo, but Pipedream took the time and scraped off the edge makes the seam a lot less harsh. The bulbous head feels solid, but the base feels hollow. You can tell by giving it a gentle squeeze. The motor is located inside the base of the shaft.



Between the flared base and the dildo, a very thin cord extends out and links the dildo to a remote control. I do not see any reinforcements to the cord, so I am a bit concerned about its longevity and durability. I would probably not want to tug or pull on it excessively, and be careful if engaging in rough play.



The remote is small and shaped ergonomically to fit in the palm of your hand, with grooves for the fingers. There’s an o-ring where the cord connects to the remote. There’s also an o-ring in the battery compartment to make sure the remote is waterproof. The dildo is powered by two AAA batteries. I find the battery compartment hard to close. It is designed too small and tight for general batteries, and when I try to use Eneloop rechargeable batteries, they do not fit at all because they are a hair larger than regular AAA batteries. The company logo is on the bottom of the remote.



The two buttons are located on a black panel on the front of the remote. The upper button turns the unit on and off, while the bottom changes the modes. A row of three blinking red lights between the buttons indicate the vibration pattern. Pipedream thoughtfully included a plastic holster to the remote, so you can clip it onto your harness or clothing.

While the dildo has nice girth, it is not very long. In my opinion, it’s great for beginners that also like vibration. Advanced users might find it too small. There are other options in the Fetish Fantasy Elite lines that will accommodate most people. For people who don’t like vibration, there is the non-vibrating version. For less girth, there’s the thinner version. Eden also carries both the vibrating and non-vibrating models in 6, 7, 8 inches length.

I wouldn’t recommend this toy for travel. It’s obviously a purple dildo, so it’s not discreet. The buttons do not come with travel lock mechanisms either.

The dildo fits nicely into my Sportsheets harness. I use the 1.5” diameter ring. Judging by the diameter of the base, you can use harness rings between 1.5” to 2”.
Even though the motor is on the bottom of the vibrator, the vibration carries very well throughout the entire body of the dildo, and the rumbles are deep and powerful. This is my favorite aspect of the product. The vibration is not loud at all. It can be heard through covers, but cannot be heard through a closed door.
To turn on the vibrating dildo, press the power button. Press the mode button (squiggly lines) to go through the seven vibration modes.

1. Weakest constant vibration.
2. Medium constant vibration.
3. Strongest constant vibration.
4. Short pulsing, strongest vibration.
5. Fast pulsing, from weak to strong.
6. Long pulsing, strongest vibration.
7. Three shorter pulses, followed by one long pulse, strongest vibration.

Every time you press a button, it gives a satisfying click, so there’s no mistake a button was pressed.
I’ve tried the dildo inside my vagina and my anus. The silicone is draggy and creates a lot of friction, so I had to use a very slippery lube. The dildo feels a little hard and rigid. I cannot feel the seam and it does not bother me. The suction from the base is very powerful and stable. You can practically mount it on any flat, smooth surface. It’s waterproof; I washed the unit fully submerged in water and I did not see any water seep through the battery compartment of the remote.

Being non-porous and waterproof, if you are not sharing the toy, some warm water and soap will be enough to clean the Fetish Fantasy Elite dildo. You can also use toy cleaners or wipes. The product also comes with a bottle of anti-bacterial toy cleaner for cleaning the toy. Do not scrub the toy with harsh materials. Do not boil it or put it in a dishwasher because the delicate internal components will be damaged.

The silicone attracts a lot of lint. To prevent lint from gathering, air dry the toy after cleaning it thoroughly. Store it in a Ziploc bag or a pouch. You should only use the toy with water based lubricant as it is made of silicone.

The dildo came in a purple box. On the front of the box it shows you a picture of the dildo and the silicone mask that’s included. On the back it describes the silicone used for the dildo, and the powerful suction from the base. It also advertises the free lube and toy cleaner inside the box. Other than a picture of a harness and the dildo, there are no use instructions.


Opening up the box, you will find a silicone mask in a plastic Ziploc bag. One bottle of lubricant and another bottle of anti-bacterial toy cleaner are stored in a plastic bag. The dildo and remote are packaged inside a white foamy bag.

Accessories:
Mask: The mask is made of silicone. There are two plastic clasps that allow for the bands on the side to be adjusted. The two clasps hook together to fasten the mask onto the wearer’s head. The idea of having a pure silicone mask was very intriguing until I tried the real thing. You have to stomach all the lint and dust on the silicone first. After putting it on, it’s very tight and uncomfortable. It also pulls on your hair when you put it on and take it off. The mask blocks out sight, but not light. It definitely will not work as a sleeping mask. I highly recommend buying your own, more comfortable, blindfold.


Lubricant: This is a water-based lubricant that Pipedream included with the product. I however did not use it, because I am sensitive to glycerine and paraben. It has a very sharp chemical smell. I tried it on my fingers. It was slippery for about 30 seconds, and then became sticky. I highly recommend using your own water-based lube that you are comfortable with and like.
Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Nettle Extract, Rosemary Extract, Balm Mint Extract, Ginseng Extract, Water, Glycerine, Hydroxyethyl, Ethylcellulose, Diazolidinyl Urea, Carbopol, Sodium Benzoate, Methylparaben, PEG 6-32, Triethanolamine, Nonylphenol, Citric Acid.

Toy cleaner:
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopopyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Sodium Carboxymethyl Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium PCA, Propyl-paraben, Methylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Citric Acid.
I normally use my anti-bacterial hand soap to clean my non-porous toys, and I use this toy cleaner in the same way. I don’t really like the smell of the chemicals inside the toy cleaner; I prefer my hand soap better.

Overall I think the Fetish Fantasy Dildo is a good purchase for the price. The dildo seems to be made of quality materials, but plastic remote feels a little cheap. It’s relatively well-built for the price, though I cannot say how long the unit or especially the thin cord will last. I like the feeling of it in my anus, and I really enjoy the powerful vibrations. The accessories, on the other hand, were completely unnecessary in my opinion. They are poorly made and I wish they omitted them from the kit, so the dildo and remote alone would be cheaper.
