Not Much Better Than Hands
I like this strap a lot, but not really for its intended use. You're better off using hands if you like rough oral sex, in my opinion. The strap slips way too easily. It is wonderful for doggie sex though, and if your waist will fit the strap I highly recommend this.Published: August 29, 2010

When I saw this BJ strap, knowing how much my husband loves forceful (consensual!) oral sex, I knew I had to give it a shot. It arrived in a very standard clamshell style plastic case. Simple enough. The case is sturdy and could definitely be used to store the strap, if you desire. However, I think that the strap folds up much smaller without the case, and can be then stored in a drawer.
The Head Gear BJ Strap is made from faux leather, with two metal loops for a handle on either end. The strap measures 22" long, and the width varies. The thinnest part (in the middle of the strap) is 2" wide, and the thickest part is 3.5" wide, where the "handles" are.
When it came time to use this strap for its intended use, oral sex, we found that it came up a bit short. The back of the faux leather has a swede-like material which slides around on my hair, and makes the strap slip. If you are going to use it as intended the person "giving" oral sex will be unable to look up at their partner, or the strap will slip. :( So, oral sex was a bust for us. If you like the kind of oral sex where your partner and you are unable to make eye contact, then this strap may be for you. We like eye contact though, especially during those more forceful moments.
We did find another use for the strap, though. This strap makes an excellent doggie-sex style strap! Whichever partner is kneeling or standing can use this on the partner who is in doggy position to pull their partner closer to them and get deeper penetration. The strap was comfortable for me, but if you have a waist wider than 22" (so, approximately a 44" waist), this is not going to work for you. The strap will simply be too short.
Cleaning the strap is not so easy, so be careful not to get it dirty. If it does get dirty you'll have to use a very mild soap with no more than a damp cloth. Faux leather is not sterilizable, so I do not recommend sharing this strap with multiple partners.

Experience
One funny story with this strap, is that my husband likes to wear it around his neck when we're in the house. He says he likes how I look at him with a "nervous" look on my face. The novelty value of this alone is worth the purchase... For us anyway.

This strap really very rarely comes out, since you can't really use it for its intended use very well. I will say that it is very sturdy, and hasn't shown any signs of wear for the hard beating we have given it. :)
