Open UpThis is an awesome, sturdy, very real spreader bar. If you strap a sub onto this in sturdy restraints they will not be closing their legs until you damn well want them closing them. It's easy to adjust, and generally awesome. The only con is you need clips to attach it to cuffs, but generally, just an amazing toy.
Gorgeous, sturdy, easy to use, hard to escape.
Need to buy hardware for it.
This is a metal spreader bar to be used with restraints. It's sturdy, well made, and not the sort of thing your sub will have an easy time escaping. You'll need to own restraints or ropes to attach to the bar for it to be useful, as well as hardware for attaching them to the bar. It's quite adjustable, meaning it can be used in a variety of ways and for a variety of sizes. You can use it to keep arms or legs spread wonderfully in a fetish club situation, or if one's bed is less than ideal for restraints.
This is a metal bar, I believe it's made of nickel or at least plated with said metal, which is alright because this particular item is unlikely to have direct contact with skin, so nickel allergies are less of a worry. It's very well made, with two sturdy screw in attachment points, and simple metal pins to hold the bar adjusted to the width you prefer. The design is basically like this, a hollow metal tube with numerous holes in it for adjustment, with two metal bars with one hole each that can spread out or close in over the first bar to adjust the width. All this is held in place with two metal pins attached to metal rings for easy removal. It's very firm and I writhed and kicked and wriggled, and I had absolutely no ability to harm the bar or escape. It's metal so it's not waterproof though that shouldn't be too much of a problem, I've used it a few times since I've received it, and it's not scratched or dented, and the pins that hold it at the point you've adjusted it to stay in well during use, but some out easily when you're trying to adjust the bar.
Wipe down with a damp rag and dry promptly, generally try not to get them wet as it is metal and will rust, other than that, it's fairly easy to store despite its size as it's a fairly innocuous looking object, it might well be a curtain rod, part of a tent, or some support for a sofa.

this has held up beautifully, although we don't use it all that often, it's a really nice piece and its a point of pride that we own one. It's also a very versatile piece, and great for play in places without a lot of furniture for more standard bondage.
