Purple padded pouch - storage container discontinued by Don Wands - review by mpfm

I am pretty sure mischievous little gnomes leave me gifts of glass dildos at night. That's the only logical reason I have so many. OK, my husband's theory is that I have a slight compulsion to buy glass dildos. Whatever. all I know is I have a lot of glass. Many of the glass dildos arrive in thin velvet bags that are not sufficient to protect the fragile pieces long term. I had been putting them in thick socks or doubling up on the thin bags. These purple padded bags are the perfect solution.


The long bag is 10 inches long and 5 inches across. My initial reaction was that these were pretty big. The length especially is what makes them look big. It's great for larger toys. Below is a picture of Rainbow Heart dildo. The pouch is great for that size.

I have also found that it is large enough to put two of my smaller glass pieces. I wrap each in a sock, thin velvet bag, or bubble wrap and then place them together in the large pouch. I haven't had an accident yet with this method. The picture below includes Pouch Pals Icicles 35 and Gold Laced G. I always wrap so they aren't banging against each other. All 10 of my pouches are placed in a bag and that bag is stored in my Toy Footlocker.


The outside of the pouch is very soft and plush. I love to run my hand on them. The top closes with a drawstring. They are available in a pretty lavender shade. The padding is thick and actually takes up quite a bit of space. When filled they are pretty fat and bulky. If you have many they will take up quite a bit of space. I have 10 of the pouches and they fill a medium size bag. My only trouble is figuring out which dildo is in what bag. I haven't got around to labeling them yet. I use mine exclusively for glass dildos, but they could be used for any toy.

It can be pricey to buy enough if you have a large glass collection. I do think the large are a good deal since two small glass dildos can share a pouch. I don't know it that would be the case for the medium and for sure would not work for the small pouch.
