A simple accessory that makes the Magic Wand even better? Is such a thing possible? The answer is YES, and that answer can be found in the Pleasure Dome. There are many great accessories for the Magic Wand, but this is probably the most simple; it does not actually make the Hitachi do anything differently, it just adds to the hygiene and sensation of the basic vibrator.

The color listed for the Pleasure Dome is purple, but mine is actually a lovely shade of glittery blue. No complaints here, I actually prefer the blue, but I just thought it was worth mentioning that if you order the toy it may come in a variety of colors.

The Pleasure Dome is a simple sleeve that fits over the head of the Magic Wand. Two qualities make it an absolutely necessary addition to the Hitachi, though--it is made of hygienic silicone, and the entire sleeve is covered in fairly prominent nubs!

The sleeve can be somewhat difficult to apply and remove, but it only took me a few minutes to situate it properly. The sleeve can be removed for sterilization, but for frequent cleanings, a spray-on toy cleaner can be used if you are concerned about the Wand’s non-waterproof composition. Just be careful to clean thoroughly around the nubs.

As just about everybody who has tried it knows, the Magic Wand feels wonderful. The addition of the Pleasure Dome makes it feel even better, in my opinion. The silky silicone and the plethora of nubs heightened the sensation and the pleasure, and I got off using this in no time at all. If you are not warmed up to begin with, a tiny amount of lube applied to the Dome is all you need to start an exciting session!

As Essin’ Em has mentioned in previous reviews and comments, the Pleasure Dome will now have a permanent place atop my Hitachi. The only time it will come off is for the occasional sterilization or when I want to use a different attachment. For those who love the Hitachi Magic Wand, I would say the Pleasure Dome is a must!
