Liberator Pulse - liberator shapes by Liberator - review by married with children

This Liberator shape is used for female solo fun, or to put on a show for your partner. The latter being my favorite. This shape has two pockets specially designed to hold your adult toys in place, while you take it for a ride.

This was designed with females in mind, you gentlemen can also get in on the fun with your favorite dildos and vibs. It will work well for you guys, and "more gooder" for you ladies.

Like all Liberator shapes; this one also has the dense foam inner core, covered with two removable covers. One water proof, and the outer one soft microfiber. The outer cover has slits, allowing access to the toy pouches in the inner cover. The Pulse has two toy pouches, but more on that in a minute. The covers are machine washable. We have a closet full of Liberator gear, and have never had a problem with machine washing the covers. Sure, you will get some fading from wear and cleaning, but that holds true for everything. I have not noticed a lot of fading in my gear. The covers are well made.

The foam core is dense enough to sit on and not have it go flat. It will hold your body weight. I am 160 pounds, and it holds me without the slightest problem. The foam has some give to it. Maybe like a foam mattress. Not a mattress topper, but the full on foam mattress. It might be slightly more dense then that. I can not tell a difference between any of my shapes, in their denseness. So I assume that Liberator uses the same type of foam for all of their shapes. If you already own one, this one will feel the same.

The pouches will hold your favorite dildo or vib, along with a bullet vib to pleasure your clit. The deep inner pocket holds the dildos, and the bonus external pocket will hold a small vib or bullet.

My wife likes to sit on the pulse, with her favorite dildo and bullet inserted. She just rocks away until her toys take her away. It is a sight to watch. I am so used to doing all the work to get her off. So it is nice to be able to sit back and take in the show.

The pulse is comfortable to use. You can sit facing either direction. There is an external pocket on each side of the inner pocket. Which ever side your clit is on, you will be able to please her. My wife will sit on it facing either direction. They both work equally well for her.

We have not found a position that works for both of us at the same time. Unlike other Liberator shapes, this one is pretty much a solo act. And I am fine with that, some nights I love just watching. If you own this, and have found a position that will work for both of you at the same time; then please share.

I have also found that any dildos with balls at the base, will not fit into the pockets very well. The smaller ones we can get to kind of work, but we are not so lucky with anything medium sized on up. However, any dildos or vibrators without balls will fit just fine. We also have not had any problems with them staying in the pocket with use. I think that is in part due to the fact that you pretty much just rock back and forth on this shape, and not so much ridding like the bon bon or the wing. We had problems with smooth vibrators and dildos staying inserted inside the bon bon and the wing.

Our pulse showed up in a large brown cardboard box, wrapped in a plastic bag. This has been typical with all of your Liberator shapes. The difference being that this one came with instructions on how to insert your toys into the pockets. I felt that was a added bonus. You can figure it out on your own, but it always nice to hear from the person/people who designed the product on how they designed it to work best. You also get the standard Liberator booklet, highlighting some of their other product lines.

The two covers both have zippers, for easy removal and cleaning. The covers are pretty easy to put back on. It will only take you one time to see how they go back on. First time might take a minute or two, but after that it will be second nature to you.

We wash and dry our outer cover in our machines. The inner cover only gets washed about half the time. Nether one has encountered any problems with our method of cleaning. You could also hand wash the covers, if you where worried about machine washing them.

The Pulse sits in our closet along side our other shapes. Only 2 sit on the bed (more between the bed and the wall), our jazz and our wing. Liberator shapes are not the easiest to hid, if you are having guest coming over or have older kids in the house.

We have purchased 3 different shapes, all designed for solo play; and this one is the first that works for my wife. The other two, the bon bon and the wing, were both too tall for her to enjoy them as they are designed to be enjoyed. The height of the pillow plus the height of the toy added up to be too tall for her small frame. She is only 5' 3", or so. This one works great for her.
