Pros:
Waterproof and machine washable. Comes in a variety of colors and its uses are endless.
Cons:
Price. Is a bit stiff and crinkly due to waterproof layer, not very "snuggly"
Experience
As I mentioned at the beginning of my blog review, I've had this throe for several months. I can honestly say that I've gotten enough use out of it to make it worth the price for me. It's just so much nicer having this blanket tucked under the bed when I need it. For me, there's nothing so anti-climactic as having to deal with the wet spot or with post-sex clean-up and owning the Throe means reveling in my post-orgasmic bliss rather being jolted out of my mood by the wet spot!

I definitely soaked through one of these just now. Like, through to the carpet I had it spread out on. :( Thankfully it wasn't too bad and should dry soon, but... isn't that supposed to be impossible? I mean, I was gushing like crazy, but still!
Has anyone else had this happen? I've had this blanket for a few months and this never happened before (at least not that I realized). Dang it, I hope it's not damaged... -

I can't comment on if its ever happened, beings I don't own one (yet lol), but good luck next time!

I've heard of the waterproof layer wearing out (after more than a year, though--might have been a few years? Can't remember where I read it). In any case, these blankets don't last forever, I don't believe.
A few months seems awfully quick, though. Wish I had a suggestion for you!

Why no light colours for the Liberator throe?

After reading all the positive reviews, I'd love to try the throe, but none of the colours available would work for me. I don't want animal prints or dark colours. Why aren't there any light colours? White or beige would work for many people, and not be as blatantly sex related as red and purple.
