Have I mentioned that I have children? I have two beautiful, curious children. One of the things I will never be able to forget is the time, about two and a half years ago, when my then four year old son found my purple vibrator. I was on the computer and turned around when he said, “Mom, look! It’s a spaceship! And it makes noise too!” Yes, he had turned it on and was zooming it around the room. I knew then that it was time to make sure I had a better hiding place.

Until the Divine Toy Box arrived, I’d been using an old Christmas box. It was decorated with snowmen and definitely did not fit the décor of my bedroom. Unfortunately, it was the only thing I could find that would look decorative and would fit the things I needed it to.

The box arrived and I eagerly ripped it open. It was packaged beautifully in tissue paper and I jumped for joy when I saw that a small lock and key were nestled inside of the soft lining. I immediately locked myself in my bedroom and switched all of my toys into the new box. I easily fit both my regular, go-to vibe and my G-spot vibrator. The blindfold and our restraints (for our under the bed restraint system) fit nicely on one side, making them easy to snag whenever we were in the mood for a little bondage play. The Diving Dolphin (my absolute favorite cock ring/vibrating bullet combo) went on top of the restraints and our lube fit into the end of the box like a dream. There’s even room for a few more little things! Sure, I can’t fit my double-ended dildo in it, but I am surprised at how neatly and perfectly so many of my favorite toys fit into this beautiful box. I locked the box and immediately threw my old, ratty box away.

I love the look of my new box on my nightstand. It’s very feminine looking and, if I turn the lock towards the wall, it looks like it could be anything but what it truly is. I did discover, fairly quickly, that the lock makes it a bit annoying if you want to grab something out of the box in the spur of the moment. For instance, we always need lube, and the time it takes to find the key and unlock the box is a bit annoying. I think we’ll tend to leave the box unlocked with the latch down to keep it secured. It’s nice to know, however, that when my children’s friends come over or when we’ve got company, I can lock the box and be confident our sexy secrets will remain safe.
