Shag throe is worth the dough
The bottom line is that this throe is the only barrier protection you will need for a very long time.Published: June 26, 2011
Pros:
Does what it's made for.
Looks classy.
Feels great.
Easy to clean.

Pricey but worth it.

This thing takes a lickin' and some hot wet sex and washes clean every time I've used it. The other part that is great is that unlike many other shag material blankets, this doesn't seem to wear down and create bald patches. Hands down, this blanket pays for itself in absolutely no time.

Soaked through!
-
I definitely soaked through one of these just now. Like, through to the carpet I had it spread out on. :( Thankfully it wasn't too bad and should dry soon, but... isn't that supposed to be impossible? I mean, I was gushing like crazy, but still!
Has anyone else had this happen? I've had this blanket for a few months and this never happened before (at least not that I realized). Dang it, I hope it's not damaged... -

I can't comment on if its ever happened, beings I don't own one (yet lol), but good luck next time!

I've heard of the waterproof layer wearing out (after more than a year, though--might have been a few years? Can't remember where I read it). In any case, these blankets don't last forever, I don't believe.
A few months seems awfully quick, though. Wish I had a suggestion for you!

Why no light colours for the Liberator throe?
-
After reading all the positive reviews, I'd love to try the throe, but none of the colours available would work for me. I don't want animal prints or dark colours. Why aren't there any light colours? White or beige would work for many people, and not be as blatantly sex related as red and purple.

I'd love for Eden to carry the Decor colors.

Quote: I'd love for Eden to carry the Decor colors.Seconded. The purple color is so pretty! I'd love a baby blue or light link option. Our bedroom is black and baby blue. Black doesn't seem like a good color to pick for something that will be catching bodily fluids. I'd much prefer a baby blue Throe. We just got the purple and figured oh well to matching. If a baby blue came out I would buy that.
