shall we shag now, or shag latter?
Liberator makes a great high quality product. You add that to the fact they are made here in the USA. You cant go wrong with that combination. My only gripe would be a lack of options available for colors and sizes. But it is not enough of a gripe to take away any stars. They get 5/5 stars from me yet again.Published: August 21, 2011
Pros:
water proof, very soft on the skin
Cons:
price, does not cover all of bed, colors too bright and loud
Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
This has been a great investment. Even though the wife would rather use it as a cuddle blanket, then a sex blanket. I am still glad I purchased it. We have washed it maybe 10 more times since the original review, and it was stayed as soft as a brand new one. The color has not faded, as far as I can tell. I might get a new one in a year just to see if there is a difference between the new one and the old one. Because I can not see any type of wear and tear happening.
My wife is afraid of it losing its fluffiness, so she never wants to use it to protect the bed from fluids. I have explained to her time after time, this blanket was designed to protect your sheets from needed to get washed every other day. It is made to take a wash and still hold up. And it has.

Soaked through!
-
I definitely soaked through one of these just now. Like, through to the carpet I had it spread out on. :( Thankfully it wasn't too bad and should dry soon, but... isn't that supposed to be impossible? I mean, I was gushing like crazy, but still!
Has anyone else had this happen? I've had this blanket for a few months and this never happened before (at least not that I realized). Dang it, I hope it's not damaged... -

I can't comment on if its ever happened, beings I don't own one (yet lol), but good luck next time!

I've heard of the waterproof layer wearing out (after more than a year, though--might have been a few years? Can't remember where I read it). In any case, these blankets don't last forever, I don't believe.
A few months seems awfully quick, though. Wish I had a suggestion for you!

Why no light colours for the Liberator throe?
-
After reading all the positive reviews, I'd love to try the throe, but none of the colours available would work for me. I don't want animal prints or dark colours. Why aren't there any light colours? White or beige would work for many people, and not be as blatantly sex related as red and purple.

I'd love for Eden to carry the Decor colors.

Quote: I'd love for Eden to carry the Decor colors.Seconded. The purple color is so pretty! I'd love a baby blue or light link option. Our bedroom is black and baby blue. Black doesn't seem like a good color to pick for something that will be catching bodily fluids. I'd much prefer a baby blue Throe. We just got the purple and figured oh well to matching. If a baby blue came out I would buy that.
