The Liberator Wing is a combination pillow/toy holder that allows a dildo or vibrator to be used hands-free in either a riding position or a straddling position. There are two pockets into which the user can insert his or her dildo or vibrator. One pocket is built into one end so that the toy will stick straight out. The other pocket is built into the top edge of one end so that the toy can point up or at any angle preferred by the user. Of course, the pillow can also be used as a positional aid during lovemaking as well without inserting a toy. The Wing can be used similarly to the Whirl, except that since it is not completely round, it will not completely roll in the way that the Whirl can.

As I have noted in other Liberator product reviews, Liberator makes top quality products. The Wing is no exception. The interior foam is dense and firm. It is covered by a protective cover that is waterproof to keep moisture out of the foam. The Wing is then covered by a soft microfiber cover in your choice of Liberator's various colors. The microfiber cover is soft and pleasant to feel against your skin. It is also moisture resistant. When stains occur you simply unzip the cover and throw it into your washing machine. Once clean, pull the cover back over the foam foundation and zip it back up. We have had our Wing for about six months, and there are no signs of material wear, break down or wear. I might add that we have had a Wedge, Ramp and Whirl for almost two years, and they likewise have no signs of fading or material deterioration. I therefore expect that the Wing, while much newer, will hold up similarly.

I purchased the Wing specifically to give my wife a fun new way to play with her toys, especially her LELO Elise. The Wing can also be used as a positional aid as well. We have enjoyed using it as basically another Whirl to take pressure off of our backs and legs in certain positions. For instance, in cowgirl position, I can put the Whirl under my knees to create a nice angle and to help me thrust up into my wife. Alternatively, my wife has found a unique use while in doggy position. She can lie across it with a small bullet style vibrator placed in the very top of the pocket that runs across the Wing. The Whirl is firm enough that the bullet stays in place while I penetrate her from behind. As long as we are not too vigorous, the bullet will stay on her sweet spot for lots of fun sensations for her.

The Wing comes in a plain brown, heavy duty cardboard box. It is very discreet, and can certainly be used for storage of anything that might fit inside it. Once the box is opened, the user will find that the Wing is inside a plastic bag to protect it from staining during shipping. Liberator includes a little booklet with each of their pillows that serves as an illustrative pictorial set of instructions. Liberator also has a very extensive website that will give users other ideas on how to use the Wing, as well as its other products. We suggest that you wash the microfiber cover once before the first use, just as you might with some new clothes. We suggest this because we noticed that the microfiber tends to have a graininess to it until it has been washed the first time.

As noted above, care is very easy. Simply unzip the microfiber cover and run it through your washing with your appropriately colored clothing. Once it is dry, put it back over the Wing and zip it back up. However, because there are pockets designed inside into the foam, we have found that one additional easy step is necessary for proper care and cleaning of the Wing if you are going to use the pockets to hold a vibrator or dildo. During use, some lubricant and/or bodily fluids may drip down into the pocket. Simply take a cloth with warm soap and water, wipe out the pocket, and then dry it with another dry cloth. We keep our Wing tucked under our bed.

The Wing has allowed my wife to enjoy her insertable toys in a whole new way. Rather than lying on her back or stomach and reaching her hand down to insert and move the toys, she can now ride them hands-free just as she might in rear entry or cowgirl positions. We suggest that if you want to simulate doggy style, that you put the end of the Wing that does not have the pocket for the vibrator against something like the wall or footboard or headboard of the bed so that you can have something to push against. We have also found that the Wing can be used strictly as a positional aid pillow, just like the Whirl and other Liberator shapes. As I noted above, it is also fun to let my wife have a vibrating toy under her in rear entry positions. Finally, the Wing can be used by anyone who wants to be anally penetrated as well, in either rear entry or riding positions.

My wife and I have found that the Wing is a welcome new partner in our bedroom. For solo play it allows the user to simulate positions that are not otherwise possible. For partner play, it allows us to use toys in ways that we could not do before getting it. It is also another great positional aid for lovemaking even without using a toy inside one of the pockets.
