Use

Vaginal balls are a great option for any woman looking to tone and tighten her pelvic muscles. Toning these muscles can help with vaginal tightening after childbirth, bladder control, and stronger orgasms. These balls makes exercising your kegel muscles super easy and fun. There's really no reason not to use these, as just about every woman can reap the benefits from regular kegel exercises.

They can be worn in just about any situation. You can wear them to work, while doing chores, while out running errands, and yes, during masturbation or foreplay. While not totally meant as a sexual toy, these can gently massage the g-spot when the retrieval cord is tugged on. The balls also seem to gently massage the vaginal walls while walking, which adds a great sensation, but isn't powerful enough to be distracting. These are not meant for anal use and aren't anal safe in any way.

These balls should be comfortable for women of all sizes and accommodate beginner to intermediate skill levels.

Material / Texture

The shell that the balls are placed into is made of soft, flexible, stretchy silicone. Silicone is not porous, and can be sterilized. The silicone isn't as velvety or sticky as other toys made of the same material. It doesn't pick up much, if any lint, and isn't tacky. However, it's not too slick, either. Lube may be needed when inserting these.

The balls are made of a hard plastic material. There is a seam that runs around each ball, but it doesn't create any problems. Inside the balls is a shaker that seems to be coated with a rubber-like coating which cuts down on the noise level.

These don't have much of a scent at all.

Design / Shape / Size

With this adorable set, you have a lot of options. Form meets function with this product. You get two shells. One can hold a single ball of 30 or 40 grams, and the other can hold two balls of any combination. The set includes four weights. Two are 30 grams, and these are very round and the smaller of the four. The other two are 40 gram weights, which have a slightly oblong shape and are slightly larger. They're all a very vibrant pink (or purple) color that's incredibly pleasing to the eye. This set allows for the wearer to wear 30 grams in the single shell, to 80 grams with both balls in the double ball shell, which makes these great for beginners who are looking to explore the world of vaginal balls, but aren't sure where to start.

The shells have an opening in which the balls are inserted. The openings are decorated with the crown logo. The logo can't be felt when the balls are inserted. The single ball shell is 4 1/2" with less than that being the actual ball, itself. The second shell is 6 1/2" in total length, with about half of that being the retrieval cord. The retrieval cord is curved with a little ball on the end for easy gripping. It is very comfortable when positioned against the body and isn't too apparent.

Overall, the size is small enough to be comfortable for long-term wear, but large enough to be functional. If these were a little larger or smaller, they would not be as effective. This size should work for a large percentage of women.

These balls are super cute. They look like artistic little sperm, but not enough to be creepy in any way.

Performance

To use these balls, select the weight and shell that you want, insert the ball in the shell, lube it up and insert. The balls are blunt, so it does take a bit of light force to get them to pop in. You'll know they're in right when you can barely feel them (a lot like a tampon). You'll be aware that they're there by the shakers located in the balls. If you wiggle your hips, get up and walk, dance, run around, or move your lower half in any way, you'll be able to feel them rolling or shaking around in the ball. They also provide a nice massaging sensation when walking.

Now, for the exercises, the "object" of these balls is to keep them from falling out. Beginners may want to start out with the lighter weight, which is the easier way to go. Advanced users can graduate to using two weights. To keep these in, you'll need to squeeze your kegel muscles. You don't have to do it the entire time you have them in, but these balls will make you more aware and remind you to keep clenching. That's how you exercise!

When you're done, pull the retrieval cord to remove them. It can be slightly awkward, but it's easier if you relax. The silicone retrieval cord will stretch a bit, but the ball will pop right out as smoothly as it went in.

In my experience, I found the single ball shell to be the most comfortable. I haven't had children and have a tilted cervix and felt like the double balls were slightly bulkier and hard to get in fully, but I didn't have much trouble with them. While wearing them, I was way more aware of my kegel muscles and worked them a lot more than I normally do. My favorite thing about these is the interesting sensation from the shakers. For a while I went around shaking my hips and was amused at the fact I could hear them and feel them pretty well. If you're worried about the noise, just don't go around doing any vigorous thrusting. They're barely audible if they can be heard at all. The noise level is incredibly discreet.

Care and Maintenance

These balls are pretty easy to take care of. Wash them with soap and warm water. The silicone can be boiled for sterilization, but the plastic balls cannot. Popping the balls out of the shell is a good idea when cleaning, because fluids can get trapped underneath the silicone. Also, when inserting, it's best to make sure the seam is inside the shell and not peeping out at you through the window. Fluids can get caught in there, as well. The silicone does not stain when it comes into contact with menstrual blood.

Do not use silicone lubes on these! Only water-based. Silicone will damage the material.

There really aren't major needs for storage with these. A plastic bag works well and helps to keep all of the pieces together. They're not the most discreet thing out there, but they're not the least.

Packaging

The packaging was really nice. These came in a black box with a beautiful design. The front of the box has a window and the back of the box is a flap that can be opened so you can look at these from another angle. There were instructions included, but they were vague and gave cleaning instructions and not much else.

Experience

This was my first set of vaginal balls. I had been incredibly curious about them and picked these on recommendation from another member. I really like the different weights and how much you can customize these. I can go from ultra beginner, to advanced user without having to buy anything else!
Follow-up commentary
I don't wear these as much as I should, but that's because it's a little bit of a hassle to clean underneath the shells and put the balls back in. I found the double shell a little comfortable after a while and it was always a little too bulky for me. I like having these for making house work a little more productive though. I should go work out right now, in fact.
