Honestly I was very surprised when I first opened the box and inspected the wedge. For what it is, it's very light weight and sturdy, yet has enough softness and give to it so it's still comfortably used.

The wedge itself is crafted from foam, and is what provides support and gives the wedge it's shape. The foam is encased in a nylon sleeve that zips. Encasing that, is a microfiber sleeve that gives the wedge it's oh-so-soft velvety texture.

I wish it came with a carrying case, we've got animals and find that the microfiber attracts a decent amount of fur! Keep that lint roller handy!

Initially I must say rather disappointed in it's size. Even though liberator provides the dimensions, I have a hard time envisioning proportions. And it's not like I take a tape measurer out for everything! Needless to say the wedge was a bit smaller than I expected, and to start off I was greatly disappointed.

I spent some quality time with the wedge prior to bringing it into our bedroom play sessions. Trying to figure out what the best positioning would be to try, how does this work for doggy style, etc.

I figured this would probably be best suited for doggy style, and it took me a few tries to get completely comfortable positioning, in the beginning I wasn't allowing myself to 'slide' down the wedge, and I found it mighty uncomfortable. Lesson -- slide down.

Straight up missionary with elevated hips, I did not find this comfortable at ALL. It might be because of the weird angle it puts my back into. I'm eager to get the ramp, and try this one again. HOWEVER we were able to do the missionary position with my legs on hubby's shoulders. I found doing it that way was not quite as uncomfortable, and made for some awesome penetration.

We also tried it with hubby propped up on it and myself on top. Me on top hasalways been my favorite, the wedge added just a little extra flare.

It's also useful to help prop your partner up when preforming oral sex.

Here's where I am a bit disappointed. The wedge arrived in just a plastic bag, with no carrying case. So, because the outer material is SUCH a hair attractor, I'm left with a few options. Make a bag, keep it in a plastic bag, or try and purchase the liberator case for it.

Not pleased with any of those options.

Ideally storing it in a nice case/cover would be nice. In the mean time I'm just keeping it in a plastic trash bag (how romantic!!!!) Under the bed.

The outer microfiber layer is washable, and the inner nylon layer is easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.
