Thirteen and Room to Spare

This extra large case really is extra large, holding thirteen of our impact toys (including seven floggers) with room to spare. The sides are sturdy and protect whatever you choose to keep inside. There are loops and straps to hold your toys in place. It comes with a lock and two keys, and glow-in-the-dark zipper toggles. It has both a handle and an adjustable shoulder strap. And the fabrics it's made of hold up to all kinds of abuse.

extremely useful review
For the longest time, we kept the vast majority of our toys in the top two drawers of our dresser. Our only dresser with only five drawers. Most of our clothes live in a basket because we've run out of space in the dresser and our closets are full of boxes.

It's getting ridiculously difficult to even find the toy we want to use, much less disentangle it from the mess in our drawers. And M was getting a little nervous about the bottles upon bottles of lube and massage oil piled in the drawers next to his fancy leather whips. So my most recent household project has been buying storage for our toys.

I've been eying this bag for a while because it's long enough for the canes and crops and all of M's floggers. I imagined I'd have to keep a few things in the drawers because I'd run out of room, but much to my surprise, the only thing that didn't fit inside this bag was the Rainbow Nights Paddle. But even that isn't because there's not room in the bag for it. It's because the paddle is just slightly too wide to fit in the bag without making the bag bulge.

This "extra large" flogger case is three and a half feet long, three and a half inches wide and three inches deep. It's made of black faux leather, and lined with black nylon. It appears to be well-stitched. And inside the nylon is a rigid but flexible material.

On the inside of the lid are two elastic loops meant to hold toys in place. They come in really handy for keeping whips from getting tangled, or holding the Hitachi Magic Wand (or something similar) in place. At what I'd consider the "top" of the bag, there's a velcro loop on the lid and one on the bottom that can be used to keep whips and floggers from flopping around loose inside. On the outside, there's a handle to carry it by and an adjustable shoulder strap. And it's held closed by two zippers with glow-in-the-dark toggles on them.

The bag comes with a small padlock -which isn't the best lock in the world, but seems sturdy enough- and two keys. The lock threads through two rings attached to the zippers.

Cleaning it is easy enough since it's faux leather and nylon. A damp cloth and maybe a little soap (if necessary) is all you really need. But if one keeps the bag away from the line of fire and only puts clean toys inside, you probably won't have to clean it very often.

Overall, the bag is roomy and sturdy. It's a little awkward to carry, but for those tops who like to switch toys a lot during a scene, it gives you enough room to carry a good selection of impact toys. And there's room in the bottom for a couple sex toys as well.
Experience
In the case, we keep the Knotty Cat, the big leather flogger M made, a small suede flogger M made, the Kangaroo Flogger, the Delrin Cane, the crop, the buggy whip, Glow, the Black and Blue Strap Whip, the Viper Tongue, Satan's Studded Suitcase, the Rubber Whip, and Rubberella. All at the same time.

Because Carrie Ann had trouble with another FYN bag leaving stains on silicone, I've not put anything other than whips and paddles in this one. So far, we've had no adverse effects.

While the glow-in-the-dark toggles are a nice touch, I'm of the mind that a more sturdy attachment is in order. The rings holding the toggles to the zippers seem like they could be easily twisted open if the need presented itself. Which would be a good thing if you lost your keys, but not so much if the bag was tampered with.

Course, for us, our biggest worry is privacy, and that simply means tucking the bag away in a closet when we have company who might nose around where they're not wanted. For the most part, our visitors assume it's a billiards bag and blow it off, so it stays leaning against a bookshelf in the corner. Most of the time, we don't even use the lock. But some might find they prefer something a little more sturdy to keep prying eyes out.

All in all, we love this bag. It suits our purpose well, and will be a great asset when we finally begin attending kink venues.

It was awkward for us to carry too - especially if it only fit a couple large floggers at a time. I'm thinking we might look into the smaller flogger case. Great review as always.

Great review. Good to know you haven't had any staining problems. Carrie Ann isn't the only one who had that issue with other FYN cases.
