This isn't your childhood slip'n' slide... It protects your sheets!

This is a great product for those looking to save their sheets from bodily fluids and lube (especially if you are a squirter!) 100% waterproof, easy to clean, soft, looks like a blanket... What more could you ask for?! It does have one downside as it makes a bit of a crinkly plastic noise when in use. It is a much better alternative than a tarp though!

Use

The Liberator Posh Throe was made for those who like to get wet and wild when in bed alone or with a partner (or partners!) If you have ever wondered how to protect your sheets, or couch or any other surface from lube, bodily fluids or any other mess, this product was made for you! Not only does it protect whatever surface is beneath you, it also ads a sensual side since with its soft texture. Are you a squirter? No Problem. Too much lube? No Problem. Into watersports... no problem! Want to go on a sexy picnic and protect your skin from the rocks? This one has it covered. This product is completely waterproof!

Design / Craftsmanship / Material

The throe has two sides, each with its own texture. One side is a satin silk like material, the other a velvety microfiber which feels somewhat like crushed velvet. Both are very soft to the skin and frankly, feel better than sheets.

The throe is 54" x 71"... about the size of a full bed (it almost covered my entire queen size bed). It is made with good craftsmanship and does not look like it will tear or unravel.. unless you take a knife or something to it that is. It is waterproof due to a layer in between the two materials that does not allow water to penetrate the material. It also doesn't absorb liquids, so you won't have to worry about it holding onto odors long term (I would suggest you wash it after use though). It is also easy to fold, no different from a blanket or comforter.

However the throe is not very thick. it is thicket than a sheet but it is not stuffed with padding, leaving it only as thick as say a beach towel. There are no annoying tags on it either, just a simple on on the edge saying liberator. It is fairly discreet and could be mistaken for a blanket to the naked eye.

It come sin 3 colors, red, purple, and black. I opted for the black version, and it truly is black. The pictures are accurate.

Performance

The throe did its job! It didn't leak liquid and was very sensual to use. The only con I have is that it does make some noise. It crinkles and sounds somewhat like a plastic tarp being crinkled. I am not sure if this will go away over time after use, but given the construction of the product my gut says that it won't. This coudl be a mood killer for some, but I didn't find it to be too off sounding, but was worth mentioning.

Personally I preferred the microfiber side as I found it more soft. It also didn't get as slippery during use, making staying on it more easy. Both sides performed as advertised though.

Packaging

The throw come sin a standard plastic box with graphics on it. It would be difficult to get the throe back in after opening it, but since it is essentially a blanket, just fold it up.

Care and Maintenance

Machine Washable! Just wash on the cold cycle and dry on low heat for the small amount of water that remains after the wash cycle.

Again, I would highly suggest washing this throe after every use to keep it fresh and clean.

      It's a great article, had to share. :D I'm cracking up though because I've always balled up the sheets and left them on the floor when I leave the room, even when there was no sex, i.e. I was sharing a room with a family member other than my husband.   • Throes how do these work?
    • Okay I have read the review and information given but I'm still confused about these whats the big deal exactly?
    • An easy to transport waterproof blanket is always a nice thing. For some it's not a necessity and is overrated, but it can change the lives of others.
    • If you aren't a female ejaculator, it might not be such a big deal for you. But for those of us who occasionally (or regularly) soak through blankets, comforters, etc... this thing is a life saver, just as Sam said. I don't know that everyone would need it, but I think it's fantastic! :)

  • Do you think the price of the Fascinator throe is worth it?
    • I really love the red one but it's expensive... Just wondering if the size you get is worth the price?
    • We just got ours and I'd have to say yes. Alan & I have paid almost that much for "normal" comforters for our bed, and they've not been as warm as the Fascinator, nor water resistant.
    • For me it's not worth it yet... But that's because I don't really get messy with sex. Maybe when I have a place and can have sex anywhere, or when I live with my guy and we have more time to experiment...

      I think for it's features it's definitely worth the price. And I've heard good things about the size I think, or at least never BAD things.
