Throe Me Down and Spread Me Out!

The Shag Throe is worth every penny and more! You can't go wrong with this purchase. If you enjoy squirting or messy sex without worrying about the cleanup, this is for you. The only problem is that once you buy one, you will want another!

Use

The Liberator Shag Throe is perfect to use anywhere at anytime. It's a pretty shade of purple that works great as a lap blanket, or it can be tossed on the bed without anyone knowing it is a sexual throw. It absorbs the sexual juices, which helps save the bedsheets and makes cleanup easy.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material

The Liberator Shag Throe is a well crafted and exceptional sex throw. It is made out of a plush polyester satin material that is a different shade of purple on each side. One side is plush and soft, which is the darker purple, and the opposite side is satin and a lighter purple. It has some sort of protective (waterproof) lining sewn inside, which can make it sound crinkly when first purchased, though ours wasn't that bad at all.

It is 71 inches long and 54 inches wide.

Performance

We tested the Throe by using it on the living room floor. The issue we had is that the Throe didn't remain in place. With every thrust, we slowly slid off the Throe until my back was on the carpet. In the bedroom, the Throe worked better on the bed.

Packaging

The Liberator Shag Throe came packaged in a clear plastic bag. It was inside of a plain brown shipping box, which was a little bigger than the Throe in the package.

Care and Maintenance

The Liberator Shag Throe includes washing instructions on the tag attached to one of the ends. You should machine wash it separately or with dark colors in cold water on the delicate cycle. DO NOT bleach! Tumble dry on low heat, and DO NOT iron! You can always hang it up to drip dry as it does come out virtually dry from the washer. If you have other Liberator products with covers (and like colors), this would be good to wash with.

    • I definitely soaked through one of these just now. Like, through to the carpet I had it spread out on. :( Thankfully it wasn't too bad and should dry soon, but... isn't that supposed to be impossible? I mean, I was gushing like crazy, but still!

      Has anyone else had this happen? I've had this blanket for a few months and this never happened before (at least not that I realized). Dang it, I hope it's not damaged...

      Oh wow. I was under the impression those were pretty waterproof/sealed for that type of thing. Sorry to hear about this. I can't comment on if its ever happened, beings I don't own one (yet lol), but good luck next time!
    • I've heard of the waterproof layer wearing out (after more than a year, though--might have been a few years? Can't remember where I read it). In any case, these blankets don't last forever, I don't believe.

      A few months seems awfully quick, though. Wish I had a suggestion for you!

  • Why no light colours for the Liberator throe?
    • After reading all the positive reviews, I'd love to try the throe, but none of the colours available would work for me. I don't want animal prints or dark colours. Why aren't there any light colours? White or beige would work for many people, and not be as blatantly sex related as red and purple.

      Seconded. The purple color is so pretty! I'd love a baby blue or light link option. Our bedroom is black and baby blue. Black doesn't seem like a good color to pick for something that will be catching bodily fluids. I'd much prefer a baby blue Throe. We just got the purple and figured oh well to matching. If a baby blue came out I would buy that.
