Throe me to the wolves!
This is a wonderful product in concept, but it doesn't work as well as I'd like it to. The velvet and satin layers are not stitched together, and have a tendency to slip, slide, and bunch up. The fabric could be thicker, and any hardcore squirter will quickly discover that it's not truly waterproof. This is a great accessory to take to a party or the dungeon to cover a surface for play, but I don't think it's worth the high price compared to other Liberator products.Published: December 21, 2011

Not 100% waterproof, tends to bunch up when used on a bed, material seems cheap
Experience
The first time I used the throe I was at a friend's house - they threw it on the living room carpet, and voila! Instant play space. I like using this blanket as a portable surface much more than using it on my bed at home, where it tends to shift and bunch.

Ok, so I still think this thing has a lot of design flaws, but I admittedly use it all the time to spare my sheets from my copious squirting. My trick is to fold it in half or quarters before use, since it seems to be more waterproof this way, and it's less likely to slip around or bunch up, either.

I can only imagine what the cleaning staff thought. (scared)

An easy to transport waterproof blanket is always a nice thing. For some it's not a necessity and is overrated, but it can change the lives of others.

If you aren't a female ejaculator, it might not be such a big deal for you. But for those of us who occasionally (or regularly) soak through blankets, comforters, etc... this thing is a life saver, just as Sam said. I don't know that everyone would need it, but I think it's fantastic! :)

Sex Throws-Difference?

Ok, So I have seen three different throws on EF. One is the Fascinator, The Liberator and the Safari throw. What is the difference between them? Other than the patterns obviously. The differences between the purple ones (liberator and fascinator) is what Im really wondering. They look the same to me?

We just got ours and I'd have to say yes. Alan & I have paid almost that much for "normal" comforters for our bed, and they've not been as warm as the Fascinator, nor water resistant.

For me it's not worth it yet... But that's because I don't really get messy with sex. Maybe when I have a place and can have sex anywhere, or when I live with my guy and we have more time to experiment...
I think for it's features it's definitely worth the price. And I've heard good things about the size I think, or at least never BAD things.

Can the Liberator throe withstand oils?

I want the throe, but mainly so we can play with oils (oiled sex anyone?) and not have to worry about staining the bed. But will it stain the throe? I want to keep it pretty!
