The Liberator Shag Throe is the perfect item to add to anyone's collection of "furniture". The throe is a blanket that you can place anywhere to collect any liquids that would otherwise get onto your furniture. It easily soaks up cum, lube, and any other liquid you could throw at it! If you are tired of soaking through multiple towels and/or your bed being wet with your lovers juices, then this is the product for you! The throe can be used to collect liquids during your sexual adventures or as a comfortable everyday blanket. My fiance chooses to use it as both! The throe is for anyone and everyone. Use it to save your sheets, snuggle up and watch a movie together, it could be a baby changing blanket or even a new bed for your pets! Be advised, if you do have pets they will most likely try to steal your throe from you .

The Shag Throe is available in purple. It has a length of 71' and a width of 54" . This measures out to be 5.9 feet by 4.5 feet and has a thickness of about a quarter of a inch. We have a king sized bed and this throe covered a good amount of the bed, more than enough space to play around on!

The underside of the shag throe is a light purple satin, which feels silky and smooth.

The other side is dark purple, thick polyester shag, which feels just like fur and is very soft.


The shag or "plush", is indescribably soft. In between these is a waterproof barrier. The waterproof barrier creates a crinkle noise when the throe moves but that goes away after a few washes! The crinkle noise you hear is pretty quiet and you will most likely not even notice it. The trim on the throe is nylon microfiber. I was surprised when I took the throe from its box and looked it over. The first thing I noticed was how the trim flawlessly flowed into the material. It seems to be crafted really well and I don't suspect we will see any loose strings!

There are two tags on the throe.


The throe is very discreet. We leave it folded in half on the end of our bed and no one has suspected it is anything other than an ordinary blanket. My fiance really loves to use it as an average blanket. The first day we had it all she did was snuggle up with it. We are already considering getting another to have on hand. One for play and one to snuggle up in!

The throe lived up to our expectations. I tend to make my fiance squirt all over and it makes a huge mess. This is without a doubt squirter approved! I say that because any liquids that came into contact with our throe were absorbed. For the first time we were able to have sex and still sleep on a dry bed. We found out that laying with the shag side up, caused us to slip around on the bed. To prevent sliding around, lay on the satin side with the shag side facing down. The throe has been very comfortable every time we have used it so far. It is so soft, it feels as if you are laying on a cloud.

You receive your throe in a clear plastic box. The box can easily be used to store your throe in between uses if you don't want to keep it on your bed. You receive no instructions with the throe except for the information that is written on the back of the box.

The front of the box has a cardboard insert. The insert says "Fascinator", "Save the sheets to sleep on". Underneath that in the middle of the insert, is a woman laying on a red throe. Next to the woman is a circle that has a umbrella in it. Above the circle it says "waterproof". Underneath the woman, at the bottom of the insert it says "Liberator, Bedroom Adventure Gear".



The back of the box has the same woman with a man laying on a bunch of throes. The top of the box says "Fascinator" "Save the sheets to sleep on", once again. Underneath that is general information about the throe like describing what it is used for. There are also 2 quotes included that seem to float over the couples head. Under the couple, at the bottom of the box.



Underneath the picture of the couple it has the care instructions. It says the throe is "machine washable, cold water, dry on low heat". it also has the measurements. There is another picture of the umbrella and says "No prep time, No wet spot, No clean up".

If any item is travel friendly then it is the throe. It won't take up much space in your suitcase and looks like a normal blanket. I would actually recommend bringing your throe along if you travel. That way you avoid laying on sketchy hotel sheets.

The instructions to wash your throe are the following: Wash with cold water on the gentle cycle. Do not use any bleach while washing as this will ruin the colors. To dry you can place your throe in the dryer but only on low. We prefer to air dry ours.

My fiance loves the smell laundry has when it was hung on the line, also it will prevent any damage that the dryer could end up causing.

After washing, the fabric on the throe stays the same. There are no lumps, runs or lint balls. Hair does tend to stick to the throe so I would advise putting it away after use. If you choose to keep it out the hair does come off the blanket with one swipe of your hand or a good shake.

We absolutely LOVE this throe. I first saw this blanket when I was just browsing online checking out some of Liberator's items. I thought 'a purple, plush/satin blanket, my fiance will love this!' As I kept reading and found out it was waterproof I knew we needed to own one. The throe gets amazing ratings from everyone and I was nervous the product wouldn't stand up to how great everyone made it sound. This is not the case! The throe exceeded my expectations. When we removed our blanket from its packaging the first time all my fiance could do was wrap herself up and look shocked. "It really is as soft as everyone said!" she squealed. This scored major points with her to begin with. She spent the better portion of the day wrapped up in the throe and even used it as a normal blanket that night. She prefers to snuggle up with the shag side because she loves the way it feels against her skin. She does seem to favor the shag side of the blanket over the satin.

My fiance absolutely loves the color. It's one of her favorite things about the throe. I personally don't mind the color myself. Even if we forgot to pick up the throe after a good romp in the living room, I would not be embarrassed for it to be left out. The shag is a deep purple and doesn't look too "girly".

The throe did everything it was suppose to. It kept our bed nice and dry for the first time in years! Normally after sex we have to rearrange all the blankets and add extra towels. Then pray and hope you don't roll into a wet spot while trying to sleep. For the first time we were pleased we didn't have to deal with the only bad part that comes with sex, the cleanup.

**Be advised animals really love this throe. If you have animals in your household you may want to store the blanket in between uses. If you choose to leave it out this may happen.
