ToiBocks, a big sexy box of goodies!
Great storage unit, Toibocks brings sexy look and secretiveness together. It also brings a nice big space to store your toys, but probably not the best for large collections. I would suggest this though, to everyone! Even people with large collections. This is such a nice place to store your move favored toys. It's simple and fast to open, and a great place for chargers, and batteries to be on top. Great box, and wonderful help line, too! You can't go wrong.Published: May 6, 2011
Pros:
Design, discreet secret lock, size, fits a lot more than you'd think!
Cons:
Maybe because it only locks the lower half.
My boyfriend bought me the ToiBocks. I was so excited! Finally, somewhere nice to place my toys. At the moment, they are just packed all in their original boxes, taking up tons of room! When I first got this, I was so stoked to get it all organized! Opened it up, and began.
When you receive the ToiBocks, you are met with a box that it comes in. Opening the box you see foam holding it in place on either side, and it's packed in bubble wrap. This foam - I don't even know what to say! I hated it. It was cheap foam, so it fell apart making it difficult to get out without just turning the box over and shaking it out. After you remove the ToiBocks from the box, you will see two clear plastic bags. One has the key with a warning. And the other has your warranty, which I have yet to sign up for. But you can also sign up for the warranty online. Then you have a nice instruction sheet, and a sheet for if you encounter problems in unlocking the ToiBocks, or putting it back together.
The coolest feature of the ToiBocks, is the hidden lock. The top of the ToiBocks does not lock, so if you have children or nosy family members, it is a nice fake out. Just put some jewelry or even batteries, chargers and such on the top shelf. Unless they know how to open the bottom, or find the key and mess around lock enough, they won't figure out how to get the bottom. Where the fun stuff is. But, if you don't have any fear, you can deck the top of this box with more toys.
I won't reveal how to unlock this box, since it is a lot of the appeal. But it is not as easy as I thought. The directions didn't make much sense to me, and I kept putting the key in odd spots. Eventually I just called the number and spoke to a very nice girl. She said she got this call a lot. After we hung up, I couldn't figure out how to get it back in. Called back. What a nice girl, putting up with me. But finally, I got the ToiBocks back in one piece.
While on the phone, the lady gave me a nice tip. If you have some nosy people, or want to hide the key anyway, you can hide it in some cool places - since it is a magnet. Like the inside of a mirror, or under a metal desk. But do NOT put the key near a computer, or anything it could mess with. It is a magnet!
On to the ToiBocks and it's storage. It is a medium sized chest overall, in my opinion. 11 inches long and 7 inches wide, 6 1/4 inches tall and weighs a grand total of 5 lbs! This box was not as light as I thought, which is good! But then again, I'm a weak person. It's made from a gorgeous and smooth dark brown, cherry like wood. It doesn't match my room much, but I found a nice place for it to be at home. The lining inside is a dark red velvet texture. Nice and smooth, again. Very sexy and elegant looking!
The top shelf has 3 blocked off parts to it. One large and two small squares. I used this top storage to store batteries, my two small vibrators, my H20 Jo Lube, and my LELO Liv charger. You can use this part for small things such as all this, or for something discreet like jewelry! But like I said, my guess is if you store battiers or chargers, people won't understand what they're for.
The bottom half is just a large square for storage of bigger toys, that no one will get to! I have a some what small collection at the moment. I have my LELO Liv, LELO Ella, Platinum Jack Rabbit, Turbo Glider, and Ben-Wa Balls sitting in the bottom half of my ToiBocks. They all fit nicely in there! The Jack Rabbit seems to take up a nice bit of room, and will probably be moved when I get more toys and they need a spot since it is so large.
Do be careful, though. Make sure the toys that do some in contact are safe to be in contact with. You probably don't want porous toys touching each other, or other toys for that matter! I have my LELO toys in their nice satin pouches, and my Jack Rabbit is in a nice pouch as well, so it won't rub on anything. Just use safe storing!

Experience
I really loved this ToiBocks! It has a nice look, and not anything people would guess holds sex toys! I did find, though that since it does look so nice and sexy, people want to open it. If you have anyone who frequents your room, and is even a bit nosy, they'll probably take a look. Within fifteen minutes of receiving this and setting it up, my sister walked in and opened it up. People are curious. I love the hidden key, and I love the set up of this box! As wonderful as it would be to have both layers lock, I can understand why it would seem less suspicious to have one part not lock. It does store a lot more than I thought! When I first got the ToiBocks, I thought it was a bit small, got worried it wouldn't fit much. But in the end, it even fit my Platinum Jack Rabbit, which for me, is a large toy. The top half even fit in a bottle of lube! So you have a nice amount of clearance between putting in items, and closing it. Great box!

What Kind of Wood Is The ToiBocks Made of?
-
I'm wondering if the type of wood is what makes it valuable. Does anyone know what kind of wood it's made of?

ToiBocks is the only discreet storage designed specifically for novelties, that you can keep on the nightstand, dresser, or desk and it will not look out of place.
Due to variations in humidity and temperature throughout the world, and the small lock mechanism, ToiBocks is manufactured using MDF. We tried many different kinds of actual wood to create ToiBocks (over 3 years of R/D) and found the humidity/temperature of real wood made it constrict/contract and interfered with the effectiveness of the lock mechanism.
The design and function of the box are what increased the manufacturing costs, leading to the higher price.
All my best,

What do you guys think of this new company? I think while they are expense, it is an awesome idea. According to a video I watched, the owner said they have 9 products coming out by the end of the year! I am very interested to see what all of them are as only two (the original ToiBocks, and the ToiTissue). I think the pieces are gorgeous and seem like an awesome idea for people with lots of guest or children.
The ToiBocks locks via magnetic key, so even if someone suspected it had a compartment in the bottom, they wouldn't be able to get into it unless they had one and knew they worked (and had a key). While it wouldn't hide very many toys, it would be great for keeping a few favorites easily accessed. I've been looking at more storage options lately, and it's been hard trying to decide what I want to get! At least now I know, even if they are out of my price range at the moment. I definitely want the ToiTissue for condoms, and I want the ToiBocks for my favorites on my dresser. I am really hoping they make something a little larger too, though I feel faint when I think how expensive larger pieces would be. No doubt these are high end and absolutely gorgeous.

They're nice- but completely not my style. I don't care for any wood finishes with my furniture. They'd be totally out of place. Like Backseat- I need large storage. Any really small toys I have that would fit in those I just keep in my nightstand.
They're just awfully expensive, neat, but pricey.

Thank you for viewing The original toibocks – storage container review page!

I can't believe both layers don't lock. My kids are so nosy that it would be totally necessary. Thanks for the review!
Nice review I have a lot of toys, but I want this one for my favorites because it looks so nice!
Great review
Awesome review
Awesome review! This seems worth the investment.
Thanks
Good review Thanks for it.
I wish the whole thing locked and not just the bottom portion.
I agree! I wish both did lock, but really I find the top useful, even if it doesn't. You always need batteries, and some toys require chargers! Both can be finely stored on the top.
Thanks for the review!
Thank you! definitely makes me very interested in this secretive masterpiece
Great review
This is one of the most stunning storage options I have seen here. I love the locking system! I want one, but it's for visual reasons. I'll have to wait till I have $ to throw around.
Thank you for the nice review.
I think if the whole thing locked, it would seem a bit more suspicious, but since you can put fairly innocuous things in the top, no ones going to go snooping around to see what is underneath. Good review!
awesome review! TY
Good review...
Great review!
