Toy Box For My Box Toys
If you want a classy, nice-looking place to store your toys, this is perfect. The design does not stand out as anything but a jewelry box. This does not work with toys that are large or have very porous material, however.Published: December 9, 2011

I'm going to start off by saying I am especially thrilled with the Toibocks because the color matches every other piece of wooden furniture in my room. I may be a little biased because of this; my prior storage method was an old purse in the closet, so finding a box that served my purpose AND looked fantastic on my dresser really upped the happiness factor.
I love my toys. I also love collections, so I happen to have quite a few toys. I have several glass ones that I want to keep someplace safe - Icicles #14, Crystal Lover, and Wave Wand. These three fit neatly inside the box without an issue. I put a regular rubber butt plug on top, next to my Feeldoe (violet) and it all rested underneath the top shelf. This was much better for me than the old purse in the closet.
The picture on the product page is an accurate depiction of the color. The wood is smooth and it looks like a very quality piece of work. I did notice, upon closer inspection, a few flaws here and there. None of them detracted from the usability of the box (bocks?), though. There was a little separation of the lining in the top shelf and a small spot on the lid which could have been just a flaw in the wood.
The only complaint I have about this box is the lack of compatibility with my UR3 / cyberskin toys. I think the maroon color of the inside liner would bleed into those kinds of toys because those toys pick up the color of EVERYTHING. The liner is a little fuzzy (which is great for cushioning my glass toys) so I also don't want my porous toys to pick up a lot of unintentional lint.
The secret trick to unlocking the box is safe with me, but just know it's pretty clever. The company includes a registration form that you must fill out and send in to make sure you have a chance to get a replacement key if you lose yours. I took snapshots of my completed registration form with my phone and emailed it in to the customer service email and they accepted it that way. I have to add that their customer service folks are very nice and made sure I was happy with my purchase.

A small note: I may have to get a second box because ... I have too many toys to fit. I wasn't able to fit half my toys inside the hidden part, but that isn't a failing of the box, that's because I am enthusiastic about collecting sex toys.
None were too long to fit, but be sure to match the measurements of your toys with the length of the box before you buy this. The spatial width of this is 11 inches, but there is a half inch border of wood that knocks an inch off. Diagonally you can fit the 11 inches in, but straight across you are limited to 10 and about six inches wide. With the upper shelf inside, the height (depth) is about five inches for the secret compartment.
Another note: If you do happen to lose your key, you can get around the need for a key with a simple household object. This makes the box very unsecure to those with clever children or especially dedicated nosy roommates.

The top shelf has two points in the back where it clicks into place and the instructions warn to be delicate with that part. In the week I have had it, I have actually had a bit of trouble on two occasions when it seemed to stick closed. It was easy to resolve, though, with just a small push downward and a gentle lift upward. I think, with gentle treatment, this box will last for a long time. I just have to remember not to be overly aggressive when trying to get my toys out.

I still love this box so much. So much, in fact, that my husband got one for himself because he saw how useful it was. It holds all the things I want to keep from prying eyes and it's held up well to a few accidental rough moments. Nothing has broken, bent, snapped, chipped, or come out of place and I open it up almost daily. I would still give this a 5 rating.
Also the customer service folks are so nice and the company as a whole has not disappointed me in any way. I'm a fan.

ToiBocks is the only discreet storage designed specifically for novelties, that you can keep on the nightstand, dresser, or desk and it will not look out of place.
Due to variations in humidity and temperature throughout the world, and the small lock mechanism, ToiBocks is manufactured using MDF. We tried many different kinds of actual wood to create ToiBocks (over 3 years of R/D) and found the humidity/temperature of real wood made it constrict/contract and interfered with the effectiveness of the lock mechanism.
The design and function of the box are what increased the manufacturing costs, leading to the higher price.

What do you guys think of this new company? I think while they are expense, it is an awesome idea. According to a video I watched, the owner said they have 9 products coming out by the end of the year! I am very interested to see what all of them are as only two (the original ToiBocks, and the ToiTissue). I think the pieces are gorgeous and seem like an awesome idea for people with lots of guest or children.
The ToiBocks locks via magnetic key, so even if someone suspected it had a compartment in the bottom, they wouldn't be able to get into it unless they had one and knew they worked (and had a key). While it wouldn't hide very many toys, it would be great for keeping a few favorites easily accessed. I've been looking at more storage options lately, and it's been hard trying to decide what I want to get! At least now I know, even if they are out of my price range at the moment. I definitely want the ToiTissue for condoms, and I want the ToiBocks for my favorites on my dresser. I am really hoping they make something a little larger too, though I feel faint when I think how expensive larger pieces would be. No doubt these are high end and absolutely gorgeous.

They're nice- but completely not my style. I don't care for any wood finishes with my furniture. They'd be totally out of place. Like Backseat- I need large storage. Any really small toys I have that would fit in those I just keep in my nightstand.
They're just awfully expensive, neat, but pricey.

good review, thanks for sharing. Do you know what type of wood this is made from? Is it a solid hard wood, or a press/MDF type of product?
I looked through all the pamphlets and information that came with the box and I can't find any reference to the type of wood. It is pretty solid, though. I will ask the customer service folks and post an update.
