The Fetish Fantasy Series Deluxe Fantasy Door Swing by Pipedream ended up being a pleasant surprise. Designed with two anchors that fit over a door and held in place by the friction between the door frame and the door itself, the swing offers solid support for up to 300 pounds. Although somewhat difficult to get into the first time or two, after a few tries, it's a breeze (although I do need assistance from the hubby sometimes). Designed with a padded seat, foot stirrups and hand grips, which are designed to be used by either of you, at first glance the whole thing looks rather cumbersome and you may think that you need a boy scout to untangle the mess, but after one night, the hubby and I had no trouble knowing what was what, and what body parts fit in what areas.

Sex in the swing is a unique experience; not only are you suspended in air, but you have little control as to movement, depth, and pace of the thrusting and are therefore at the discretion of your lover. With both feet in the leg straps and your hands either on the grips or wrapped around the straps, you are at his mercy.

Your man has free reign in his thrusting, especially since your back is pressed against the wall. And once things get going, he may wish to stop thrusting, instead holding on to the straps, and moving you forward and back, creating a whole different set of sensations.

At first glance, the swing appears rather complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it's not too difficult to figure out. The two door anchors are made of metal, and attached to the device with thick nylon straps.



These fit over the top of the door, and hold the swing in place once the door is shut (and I'd suggest to lock it if you can). These straps lead down to the actual swing, which goes under your behind and holds the majority of your weight. It measures in at 7 inches by 17 inches and appears to be made of a thick, flexible piece of crafting foam covered in a soft cotton padding, that feels like fleece. Although this does not sound overly sturdy, it holds my 160 pounds with no problem and feels plenty sturdy. The straps holding the swing can be extended to as long as 4 feet, and can be shortened as needed.



Attached to the upper end of the main straps are two smaller straps with plastic hand grips attached. These handles can be used by either partner, but we found that it was easier for me to hold on to them, and for him to either hold lower on the nylon straps or just to have his hands flat against the wall. A few inches below these straps, the adjustable leg straps are sewn on. There is a lot of play in the length, which can reach up to 54 inches, allowing you can have your legs straight out in front of you, almost straight above your head, or anywhere in between. You can also shorten them so that your legs must remain in a bent position.

The 2 inch nylon straps are well made and sturdy. The seams are strong and do not appear like they will weaken or rip anytime soon. The straps that hold the swing, as well as the leg straps are fully adjustable, by simply pulling up on the bottom of the plastic adjuster piece.

My hubby and I enjoyed this swing much more than we thought we would. Although we had some giggles and laughs the first few times getting into it, once things got started, it got rather hot. If you are interested in any type of bondage play, this is a great way to get started, as you are not really tied up, but your movements are restricted and once into a position, you are pretty much stuck there.

Shortening and lengthening the swing is relatively easy if you're not in the swing and accomplished by simply pulling up on the bottom of the plastic adjuster and pulling on the strap. Once you are in the swing, it is much more difficult and not that safe. We were able to accomplish this, both by raising and lowering the height of the swing and playing with different adjustments on the leg straps. But to do this, I had to lift and hold the majority of my weight using the hand grips, and I really wouldn't recommend it, as it would be easy to fall from this position.

We use this primarily for front to front sex, and him performing oral sex on me. I love doing it with my back against the wall, and it allows us to play in ways we normally couldn't in this position, because he would be holding me otherwise. It gives him more thrusting ability, and deeper penetration. While it could be used for doggy style, it doesn't fit us well, as my husband is over 10 inches taller than me, and we just couldn't find the right height where my body was at the right angle. I think if I was a few inches taller though, it would have led to some fantastic doggy style.

The Fantasy Door Swing comes in a white cardboard box, with a couple demonstrating different ways the swing can be used. I did not keep this box for storage, because it isn't discreet and much bigger than needed to store the swing. I have a small 8 inch square box that I keep it in, after I wrap the straps around themselves to discourage knotting and twisting.

There were instructions included, but they were very basic, regarding how to place the swing on the door. It's recommended to put the stirrups up around your thighs while getting into the swing, but I have found this to be more difficult than putting them on once I'm seated.

If you wanted to travel with the door swing, it's an excellent companion. It's small enough to pack in a Duffle bag along with your clothing, and doesn't require any tools or permanent installation. It's perfect to use in a hotel room, as long as you've got a door to hang it on.

The swing shouldn't require much cleaning, but if it comes in contact with bodily fluids, being nylon, it can be washed with a damp soapy cloth and left to air dry.

Being that the swing is responsible for holding all of your body weight, it's a good idea to give it a quick once over before each use. Make sure there are no tears or fraying in the straps and that all the seams are solid. I have had no problems with mine, and it still appears strong and sturdy in all areas, but I still check it just in case.

I store my swing in a small cardboard box, wrapped around itself. This way I can put it in my toy bag, and don't have to worry about it getting tangled up with my other toys.
