Worthless Piece of Plastic

The handle did not stay put like it was supposed to and broke during the first use. I would not recommend this product because it is not effective and is also not safe, especially in a wet and slipper environment like a shower.

Use

This product is supposed to be used in the shower. Open the handle, stick it to a smooth surface, and close the handle for suction. Then while in the shower the handle can be used as an aid for different positions and such. The handle did not remain affixed to the wall and fell easily. This product does not work as hoped.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material

The handle is a large suction cup with an attached plastic handle. The handle feels cheap and does not close securely. There is a gap between the two sides of the handle which made it uncomfortable to hold onto. During the first use the handle cracked. It also would not stay attached to wall. The slightest bit of force and it would slide off.

Performance

This product did not work at all. It did not allow us to try any new positions as hoped. During the first use it broke and it weak construction caused me to slip and fall in the shower and hurt myself. After that we decided to not try to make it work, but rather never use it again because it was unsafe.
Follow-up commentary
I just recently moved and I brought this with me to test it in the new shower. It still did not affix to the wall properly in either shower in my new place.

What kind of surface were you sticking it to? It doesn't work on textured surfaces, but on really smooth tile (with no grout) it really works great. Also did you press on the handle while you were shutting it? If you're not creating the vacuum, it's not going to close.

Yes, I did press on the handle. If you didn't touch it there was no issue with it moving. My shower is an insert, very smooth plastic.
