Water-based lubricant

Slippery When Wet....

Light, versatile and slippery, Aqua works well with all toy materials. It also has a good glide to reduce friction and irritation during foreplay and penetration. Easy to clean and a slow to absorb, makes this a good lube for those that can use Glycerin products.

Use

Aqua is a water based lube that is safe for use with all toy materials, long lasting for solo sessions and provides a mice lubrication for couples. Penetration is easier, handjobs are more stimulating and boob sex is more satisfying when using this type of lube. Aqua performs very well in most situations and is good for beginning to advanced users.

As with most water based lubes, this does not perform well in water. The thinness does not work very well in penis and clitoral pumps. The suction pulls the lube up the tubes and allows it to enter the pumping mechanism. Anal penetration might not be a recommended use for this lube since I understand that anal lubes need to have a thicker consistency and possibly some numbing effect as well.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Aqua is a thinner, slick lube that has a good consistency. This lube does run, but is thick enough to stay in place once rubbed into the skin a bit. It leaves a slippery but not tacky surface and adds a good bit of glide to the toy or skin it has been used upon.

Clear and non-cloudy, it is also invisible except for the shiny, wet area this has been placed on. It absorbs into the skin at a slower rate which allows a longer period between reapplication. This is a good overall lube for slippery and sleek movement without friction.

There is no tacky, gummy residue, just softer skin and a light coating. To remove the coating, just wipe down with water.

Taste / Aroma

Though advertised as non-scented, there is a slight chemical aroma. The smell is very faint and can only be detected when it is right under your nose, but it reminds me of the smell of witch hazel or other light, natural antiseptic. A thin, watered down version of hand sanitizer, maybe.

There is a slight taste if you use this on areas that will be teased orally. It was a bit odd, but not strong enough to prevent me from continuing. There is no oily or other coating left in my mouth, but the taste was slightly medicinal and sterilizing. Just like when you use hand sanitizer and then grab a piece of candy afterwards.

Performance

A small, dime sized amount of Aqua seemed to last for about 25-30 minutes when playing with toys. Of course this does vary depending on the toy used and the amount of natural moisture you provide. For solo sessions using fingers, it would last about 20 minutes and for penetration it was slippery for about 45 minutes to an hour.

I was pretty happy with the performance, but did notice certain silicone products seemed to need more lube than the other materials. It does revive a bit with some drops of water. The lubes absorbs slow, but does make the skin soft when fully absorbed. You can remove this easily from your toys and skin with water. I do recommend using soap and water for a thorough cleaning.

Follow-up commentary
I really like the convenience and longevity of this lube. The bottle is fairly discreet and has a great shape for those with hand and joint issues. The pump top also can make application a bit easier as well.

What I have come not to like, however, is the unreliable pump top. Mine has stuck shut a few times and needed to be removed, cleaned and re-primed with lube.

One thing. Anal lubes should NOT have a numbing effect. If something is causing pain back there you need to know so you can STOP!
