2 Ounces of Platinum Fun

A silicone based lubricant that comes in a 2.5 ounce bottle always works for me, especially when it's Wet's Platinum lubricant. This lube worked great, and it was silky smooth and long lasting as well. I loved it, and you might just love it too!

Use

This lubricant really lived up to its title. It's wet, and it's platinum, and it glides. I would think that it works great for soloists or couples, as it worked great for me both ways. You might also use it for anal play, and lots of it if you wish! The ingredients are dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethiconol, phenyl trimethicone, and tocopheryl acetate, so I don't know if you have any allergy concerns from those, but I do know that this is a silicone based lubricant, so if you have any concerns about that, you should take caution. Most likely there will be no problems with this detail, though.

Wet Platinum really did some wonders for me. It's very wet, and its durability is sensational. The directions were to apply as needed, but I didn't need much, especially because I make a lot of natural lubrication myself and don't need a lot of lubrication anyway. Wet's products are mostly very long lasting, in my experience, so you probably won't be disappointed with this lubricant when or if you try it! The lubrication feels very silky and wet, and it's velvety and easy to pour, and it's especially great because it stays put.

Taste / Aroma

There wasn't really a taste or aroma to this lubricant at all, and it doesn't give off either very well, so it only reminds me of water, in a sense.

Performance

This is a guaranteed long lasting lubricant, and guaranteed never sticky as well, and it did do just those-it lasted a long long time, and it wasn't sticky at all. To wash it off, all I had to do was run some water over it. That was it! It cleans up rather easily, and I loved its appeal, especially the dark look of the bottle and the reliability of this lubricant overall.

Follow-up commentary
Because it's silicone-based, I'm unable to use it with several of my silicone toys, and it's something I have to look at before I grab it for spur-of-the-moment uses. I don't want to ruin a favorite toy! Although the packaging is great, and goth looking, as well as recyclable, it's a bit small and doesn't contain a whole lot of lube. Mine's almost gone already. But maybe it's a good thing that the bottle I got was so small because I don't use the silicone-based lubricant very much anyway. Overall, I'm still satisfied with this lube, but I usually only buy water-based. This lube has worked great on my glass dildo, though!

Silicone could be detrimental, depending on the quality of the toy, and the lube. I've never tried this lubricant on a silicone toy, but I do think it's a medium-based brand, so depending on your opinions, it could be a con, or it could matter not at all. It all depends. I thought it was a possible con, and so I put it down as that.

It works great in the shower actually! Just be very careful not to get it on the tub floor, or you will certainly go for an unintended slip! Works better with water actually- more slippery
