A Light Helping Hand

Wet Light is a nice lube for those who need just a little help in the wetness department. Not suitable for extended sessions but terrific as a light helping hand that is easily washed away when you're done.

useful review
I bought Wet Light and the regular Wet Gel at the same time. I won't lie. I got a fabulous deal on them right around the time I first started needing to use lube on a regular basis, so I figured I'd try them both.

I like the Light far better than I liked the regular Gel. It's very runny, very liquid-y so you're not going to get precision application; it's going to run off toys and fingers and drip onto sheets and floors and couches. But at least it doesn't feel all gloppy and sticky like hair gel.

It has virtually no taste other than a faint sweetness I associate with all glycerin based lubes. There is no real smell, either.

The bottle I got (1.5 oz) has a press top that makes it very simple to dispense. We found that, since it's so thin, the easiest way to dispense it was directly onto the body part that needed lube. Mostly that meant my partner would press the top, invert the bottle, and let a thin stream dribble along my vulva. Definitely a cold but interesting approach.

I'm not particularly fond of this lube for penetrative sex either anally or vaginally. It's not the greatest for toys, either. We don't even like it much for hand jobs. It just doesn't hold up long enough for any of those applications. It's too thin, dries too fast and gets a little sticky.

What IS it good for? Manual clitoral stimulation. Not for long periods or extended foreplay, but we found that just a little bit to get me going before my body started producing it's own lube worked really well.

And I think that's what Wet Light was designed for; to give a light helping hand when it's needed.

Clean up is easy; soap and water or a wet wipe and you're good to go.
Follow-up commentary
Oddly enough, when compared to other water-based lubes, I've found myself liking the Wet Light more than I initially did. It still dries out and gets flaky, but it's light and less gel-like and goopy than a lot of the thicker water based lubricants; and it's fairly easily reactivated with water or saliva.

It also tastes less offensive than many, and that comes in handy when we switch from intercourse to oral sex, for sure.

I don't think this one would work out very well for us either. Thanks for the heads up!

I had all the same issues with Wet Light which is a shame because it came very highly recommend from a trusted source. Now? I have a nearly full bottle I may never use.. but I may just do as you say and use it for clit play.
