System JO H2O lubricant by System JO - review by Eva Schwaltz

System Jo H2O can be used for anything accept maybe anal since some people may not find it thick enough. It is safe to use with silicone, glass, jelly, TPR, TPE, and any condoms. Since it is water based, it will wash off with little effort.

Unfortunately, it contains parabens and glycerine that some people may have bad reactions to. Here are the ingredients: Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified Water.

This lube is thinner than a lot of lubes out there, but it’s not as thin as Pink Water. The texture is very slick, almost like silicone. I’ve only tried one silicone lube, a sample bottle of ID Millennium, but this lube is almost as slick as that. I prefer not to use silicone because it can stain sheets or clothing, and is hard to wash off. I also use a lot of silicone toys, and silicone lube can damage the material.

The lube can be a bit runny when first applied. Depending on what type of material you use, it may or may not drip off. On glass and plastic, or other materials with smooth hard surfaces, it can be too runny. On textured glass toys, this will work very well. On TPR and silicone, this lube works wonderfully. It can get sucked up quickly, but with the right amount, the toy will become nice and slick.

When I put a dab on my arm, it becomes slightly sticky, but with vaginal use, it soaks up nicely. It is similar to another lubricant I like that Eden doesn’t carry, but System Jo H2O is a lot more slick.

When I twist off the cap, I don’t notice any smell. Some lubes have a very strong chemical smell, but this one doesn’t.

The taste is bitter, but it doesn’t linger. The taste fades very quickly, but I still don’t think it would be good to use for oral. Instead go for your favourite flavoured lube if you plan on engaging in oral.

I only have the one ounce bottle of this stuff, but I’ve started to use it more and more. It is my favourite lube to use with almost all of my toys. It sometimes requires reapplication, but it also mixes well with my natural juices. Since it is very slick, not a large amount is needed. It also cleans up very easily. This lubricant has definitely set the standard for what I look for in a good lube.

It comes in a little sturdy bottle with a pop top. You can also get it in a variety of other sizes. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, so I got the small size.

The bottle is not discreet, so you’ll want to keep it hidden if you live with nosey people. The label clearly shows that it is a lubricant. I haven’t had any problems with it leaking, and depending on what size you get, you shouldn’t have any problems keeping it stored away.

I didn’t have high hopes for this lube. At first I didn’t think there was anything outstanding about it. I soon realized that it performs way better than other water based lubricants I’ve used. I don’t get any irritation from it. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect water based lube, and this is definitely a super long lasting lube that performs well. My only regret is that I didn’t get a larger bottle.
