Moist anal lube - lubricant discontinued by Pipedream - review by meezerosity

This product is by far my favorite of the anal lubes I have tried. It is thick and long lasting without being too gloopy or having a jello-like consistency. There are some questionable ingredients if you are super sensitive, such as glycerin and parabens, but otherwise it is safe. My partners have not had any problems with me using it on them. I myself cannot use this as I have product sensitivity issues, though.

The texture is thick enough to make a good anal lube but not so thick it feels like jelly. It's just right, in between a standard water based lube and a gel. I am personally not a fan of gel textured lubes, they feel too thick and seem to dry out quicker due to the lesser water content. The texture is a bit sticky due to the glycerin, but overall it doesn't hinder too much. I have tried stickier lubes and as far as that goes this is on the lesser side. It isn't greasy or gooey at all. I love the package, having a pump bottle makes it much easier to use.

The smell does not bother me, nor does the taste. I haven't actually tasted it in use, only a bit purely out of curiosity. It has a slightly sweet flavor, again due to glycerin content. It's not bad, but it isn't anything I would like to taste if I did not have to. Overall it reminds me of most unflavored water based lubes that I have tried, just a thicker consistency meant for anal use. The smell is very faint, just a hint of sweetness and almost a powdery scent.

The product lasted long and worked very well, I did not have to constantly reapply to keep things going and it had a natural feel. Clean up was easy, as it is water based. A hop in the shower, a moist towel, or a rinse in the sink if using toys, is all that's needed. Since it is water based, it is safe to use with silicone toys so you can share them safely with your partner as they can be sterilized. The most convenient part is the packaging, pump bottles for me are easier to apply when you need a bit more than a squeeze bottle or jar.

Do be careful to check ingredients for any allergy concerns, though, and test it out safely before you get going. Many people have issues with glycerin vaginally and can use it anally without problems.

The product is packaged in a nice plastic bottle with a pump. No instructions needed, just your basic lube. It is not at all discreet, as it plainly says Anal Lube right on the front of the bottle. I haven't had any issues with the product leaking, even when just tossed in a drawer on its side. It's also not huge, so it should be fairly travel friendly, provided you don't have any concerns about the packaging being discreet.
