Astroglide X silicone lubricant by BioFilm - review by The Awesome Penguin

This was my first lubricant from Astroglide that my partner and I decided to try. We have been mainly content with various other brands and never had a desire to try anything new. We decided, on a whim, to try a new brand (for which we chose Astroglide), and in particular, Astroglide X looked extremely interesting.

Dispensing it for the first time, we could instantly tell that this was going to be a great lubricant. It is relatively thick and coats nicely wherever it is applied. I can easily say that a tiny bit of this will go a very long way. Even just a tiny bit applied to some fun areas can make the experience all that much better for anything. It lubricates extremely well and helps glide into some very tight situations. The greatest part was that it lasted a long time! We basically had no need to reapply once it was initially dispensed.

Another great feature is the odor and taste factor. Being used while engaging in foreplay, it was inevitable that this factor was going to be tested! There was no odor associated with the product at all, and, while it is no chocolate cake, the taste was unnoticeable.

Being such a thick and long-lasting product, one thing to keep in mind is that it will take a bit of cleaning up to get it off of your skin. It does not necessarily take soap and water, but you will probably want to wipe it off afterward. For the return this product gives, this was a very minimal downside.

The container is also mediocre in my opinion. It is nice to have a tight cap on the bottle; however when your hands have the lubricant on them and you close the bottle, the container itself becomes quite slippery!
