Colt slick lubricant - water-based lubricant by Cal Exotics - review by Ex-prude

Colt Slick Lubricant is a pretty great lube. It is water-based, but if you are looking for a more organic lube, this probably isn't for you. The ingredient list is fairly chemically and it has glycerin.

As for consistency, the name is really accurate. It's slick. However, some people may find that it is too runny for their tastes. When poured into the hand, it travels very quickly, and if you apply too much down there, it is likely to drip. However, it comes out of sheets easily, so it isn't a devastating problem. Reapplication was necessary during sex for me, but was not necessary for my significant other when using his Tenga Flip Hole. It creates a very nice slickness one would expect from a thin lube. You can still feel what's going on instead of slipping around blindly like with some thicker lubes. It did not last as long as System JO H2O (my go-to lube), so that was disappointing for me.

This lube is absolutely GREAT for toys, though. I use it with my toys (primarily silicone) and it works beautifully. As I said, my SO uses it with his Tenga Flip Hole and it creates a very nice slickness that is necessary with using masturbators. He doesn't have to reapply it like he did with the Tenga lubes (and we all know or can imagine how inconvenient it is to reapply lube during something like that).

When it comes to clean-up, it comes off with just water, but I prefer to use soap and water to remove the glycerin so I won't get a yeast infection (not that I have with this lube). The lube is not hard to wash off and does not cling to surfaces much.

Possibly one of my favorite parts is the design of the bottle. I bought the 9 fl oz bottle and it is a LOT of lube. The bottle is clear and doesn't taper much near the top. This makes it so that the top is almost the same size as the bottle. The cap screws off, but for dispensing, it has a push type spout that is very easy to push open and closed. This allows you to control how much lube you get based on angle and squeeze.

Overall, it is a great product and definitely a lube I'd recommend, especially for use with toys.

This has turned out to be a little too slick and short lived for me. I still occasionally use it with toys, but I prefer my other lubes over this one. It is a decent value, though, and other people might like it more than me. It still works very well with the Tenga Fliphole, so maybe this is more directed toward use on male toys. Don't let me stop you from giving it a try, though!
