This toy was definitely designed
I have no idea what the hype is all about the
JO's stimulation gel. I tried it and it produced none of the desired effects. It is supposed to cause a "warm, tingling sensation" three to five minutes after you apply it and play around for awhile. I even followed the manufacturer's instructions trying to find the optimal amount of this stuff on many occasions.
I decided to investigate the ingredients in this further to see if any of them were active in the least. The product contains four different types of silicone and peppermint (and yes it smells/tastes of peppermint). Silicone in itself is not an ingredient famous for causing arousal, although it is a very reliable lubricant that lasts quite a bit longer than something exclusively water-based. Peppermint can be stimulating but when was the last time a stick of gum gave your mouth a warm, tingly feeling... for up to forty-five minutes?
What this company is really doing is trying to get you to believe that this is happening to you. Sometimes, the belief is so strong that I do believe people can convince themselves that they have become aroused in this way. (The mind-body connection really can be that strong). There is however, no evidence to suggest that the gel is doing anything to assist this.
In other words, you are better off investing in a silicone lube (If you really desire extra and superior lubrication) because you get so much more for your money.
As far as enhancing orgasm is concerned, the best way to do this is to make sure you are fully aroused and are not ashamed of having an intense orgasm. A good way to accomplish this would to practice becoming open to the idea of being sexually fulfilled and let your mate treat you to an amazing night of foreplay with a sack session focused totally on your pleasure, because no "miracle" concoction can replace that sort of attention. Be sure to return the favor by entertaining your mate's fantasy or giving them the same "it's all about you" treatment.
Overall the product is exceedingly expensive for what it does, lubricate. JO's specialty is lubrication. However, if you want an enjoyable experience, try one of their warming lubricants or a massage gel instead of this product. Their lavender scented massage oil should put you in a relaxed enough mood to have some pretty satisfactory orgasms when you receive stimulation of your clitoris.
What a joke!
Yes I did try it, many times. I think the gradual build up is just another mind over matter thing. People who give up after five minutes are unlikely to have a satisfactory orgasm. Mainly, the instructions serve to instill patience in people and create habits that are more likely to lead to arousal and orgasm (such as extended stimulation). The gel itself does not perform the miracle... you do!
Did you use it more than one night in a row? Some of these lubes suggest a gradual build-up that will increase sensation. I don't really get how that's supposed to work either, but hey, worth a shot.
